I recently bought this bag to pair with my new Dell Inspiron notebook. Dell and Belkin has color coordinated notebooks, bags, travel mice, hubs, ect. This was my first Belkin buy and I am so happy with my choice. The bag is made very well with an extremely durable fabric, the shoulder strap is very wide, which creates less pressure on your collar and shoulder. An added bonus is the carrying bag for your power supply (which also can carry your mouse and flash drive). There are many little pockets and compartments to carry a composition book, small binder, spiral notebook, pens, calculator, ect. This bag is great for any student or professional that doesn't want the generic sleeve or bag. Basically, great looking product that is made well for a good price from a well respected company!Customer Review: a great buy

I have a Hp dv7t 17" laptop. I spent a few weeks looking for a case that would be durable and still look stylish. I spent a few days making a decision about the Belkin. I got it a couple of days ago and I am in love with it. My laptop fits in perfectly- it is a snug fit, but comforting because the laptop does not move inside the bag. Its lined with a velvet-like material that is sure to prevent scratches. Its easy to carry and sits comfortable across the body.
Although a great fit for the laptop, it leaves very little space for anything else. The power-supply cord causes the case to bunch slightly. But I can still fit my ipod, a camera and couple of files in. Regardless, I am happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend to anyone looking a carrying-case.

Quality, light, slim bag.
Exterior: I ordered the merlot which is burgundy, not red as shown in picture. The underside of the attached shoulder strap is burgundy and the top is black; the strap is invisible when tucked away in its own exterior pocket and the strong hand strap can be used. There are 2 zippered pockets - one of which is large enough for a letter sized folder.
Interior: The inside of the bag has a well padded pocket which accommodates my HP9600 perfectly as well as another large pocket for papers and 2 side pockets for peripherals. There is also a small removable case that I use for my power pack.
This is a well designed quality light weight bag!
The delivery was speedy - a very easy transaction.

I am rating this to 5 star because it meets my needs perfectly.
First, this bag is very comfortable to carry.
I bought a Lenovo Y710 which is a bit heavy but with this bag I barely feel that I am carrying a 17" laptop. I wanted to have a beg, where I could put my laptop and that is it. This bag is perfect for that.
If you work with computers and have everything in it and don't care about caring papers, this bag is what you want.
Personally i like it, it is durable, compact and it has fur in the laptop pocket so that laptop doesn't get scratches.
Like the colors too.

This is just an all around wonderful bag. I love the ease of carrying my laptop around. Its a really sharp looking item as well - mine is black with red. Lastly, it comfortably fits my 17" Screen Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop, plug, cable, network cable and mouse. I also have a notebook and pen as well in there.
I am going to order a second battery and a travel plug set and that may be a tight fit but I bought this bag for the look and comfort not to carry a ton of stuff though to be honest I am confident it will fit in there.
I would definately recommend this item esp. for the 17" laptops!
