Customer Review: Very nice laptop case for my HP DV9500t 17"

The bag is black in color with a red base all around and on the shoulder patch.
It two outer pouches apart from the main pouch for the laptop, one being zipped up and the other being velcro strip off.
My HP laptop fits relatively snugly inside the inner pouch inside the bag, it has cushions on the base to protect the front of the laptop when place vertically facing down. The main pouch where the laptop actually goes has a nice velvet like texture to it to protect it from scratches or any unintentional transit damage.
It has 4 inner pouches to keep items like adaptors, USB routers and other accessories like a mouse etc and also space to keep a book and some files etc. It also has a slot for keeping business cards, pens etc.
unlike other laptop bags, the base of the shoulder strap is wide and made of strong material. It also has a handle on the outside for a briefcase effect. This is a very useful bag for a 17" laptop and i recommend the same with confidence.

Okay...so I bought an HP Pavillion Entertainment laptop with a 17" widescreen. With my OCD I don't want a scratch on it. I spent my time looking at all these bags (you know, stopping in at BestBuy and Walmart) to see what would work for me and be cute at the same time. I saw this bag online and went to the actual seller's website to see a demo. I was pretty comfortable with the purchase; expected something average for the low cost (well, because you get what you pay for, right?). And, then it arrived and all I could say was, "YES"! It hit the spot. The computer pocket is velvet-lined, there is an inside pouch for the power supply, there are other inner pockets, outer pockets, a slip-hole for earphones...and, the best part of all - an extra inner lining pillow to add even further cushion to the bottom of the laptop pocket. The padding is also excellent for the bag's look, size, and feel. I don't think I've ever been this passionate about a purchase. It's a damn good buy. Go for it. Just got a new MacBook Pro 17" and got this to protect it. I am very happy with it at this point (it's a day old). The color is darker than appears on here, more of a garnet/burgundy color, but the bag itself has tons of pockets for simple additions, pens, pads of paper, etc. It is not "roomy" so if you are looking to store bulky items, then this may not be your bag, but for the average laptop user who might want to carry some simple stuff, this is great. Where the main material is canvass, the inside laptop compartment is super soft and well protects your investment. I'm a taller guy (6'4") and I wish the strap was a bit longer, but not bad non the less.
Are there better bags? Yes, but considering 17" laptop bags are hard to come by, not mention for the price this one comes in at, for the price this bag easily gets 5 stars. Very nice bag for the price tag that comes with it, if you are realistic on the price, you will be very happy purchasing this bag.

I own a 17 inch Gateway Gaming laptop. The laptop and battery charger fit perfectly in. It has 2 pen holders and 5 pockets inside. Outside it has a slim pocket on the top for a small mp3 player with a headphone hole, and a larger compartment covering the rest of the front. Other side of the outside (the part that rests against you when you're carrying it) there is a velcroe pocket that is large enough to hold something like a newspaper or magazine. I like to read my Game Informer so I carry that around in there. Quality of the fabric is thick and strong no need to worry about that heavy laptop falling through. My laptop is about 10 lbs with the charger, and that wide strap is comfortable. All in all this product is excellent if you are looking for a low cost high quality solution for carrying that honkin huge laptop you have.Customer Review: Perfect laptop bag!

I travel a lot, and being a woman means that I carry a lot of stuff with me when I do. This case has enough little pockets and storage space that I can use it as my carry-on. It fits my 17" laptop perfectly; it is snug enough to hold it securely without being difficult to get in and out. The strap is long enough to be worn as a messenger bag or you can shorten it and carry it on one shoulder. The small bag that holds the cord is a nice touch too. I am a fanatic about scratches and putting the cords in the bag keeps then from getting tangled or scratching my computer. The large flat back of the case is one velcro-closure pocket that is large enough to hold legal size paper and file folders to prevent them from getting bent and providing easy access. Overall it is stylish, easy to pack and carry, and multi-taksing. I love it!
