This surge protector is great. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a computer/entertainment center surge protector.
Pros:
- Easy access to all 12 outlets
- varied spacing between outlets to accommodate "wall warts" and standard plugs
- long cord
- flat, angled wall plug (hides behind furniture well and keeps the cord from sticking out from the wall)
- includes phone, ethernet, and coax connections
- low cost to value of product
Cons:
- Coax and telephone jacks make the bottom of this unit a little bulky at the bottom
- a bit wider than alternatives

I just bought my second one of these.
I love how it plugs into the wall flat instead of poking out and getting in the way of furniture etc. Also, it has network / phone line / cable connections and plenty of plugs for my electronics. Remember, electricity flows through wires. If you have everything surge protected except your tv's cable wire, you might as well have nothing surge protected. The surge can come through the coaxial cable into the tv and then out of the tv into anything plugged in to it. I will be buying a third one of these soon and I highly recommend one for you if you are after a good surge protector!

I had a lightning strike near my house which wiped out my router, network switch, and motherboard-based network adapter. I had a UPS so assumed I was safe but it looks like I got a voltage spike on my cable tv line which then spread from the router to my ethernet cable. Now, my cable, ethernet, and power connectors are all protected should such a thing ever happen again! Plus, the wide spacing of the outside outlets on this Belkin surge protector allow me to connect all my network gear, two computers and monitors, and my entertainment center. I did considerable research before selecting this surge supressor and am very satisfied.Customer Review: Slimmer than Stated

Everything I was looking for in a surge protector: nice design, great features and lifetime warranty. I do want to point out that the product dimensions stated under "Product Details" are different than the actual dimensions. Perhaps this will be amended by the time you read this review. I measured it at 13.4" x 4" x 1.5" (1.8" w/cord management clip on), which is slimmer than the stated dimensions (15" x 7.2" x 2.3"). This was important to me because I was looking for a surge protector to fit inside the Blue Lounge cable box. Under the "stated" dimensions it wouldn't have fit, but the actual dimensions was a perfect fit.Customer Review: A great surge protector for your computer gear

Over the years, my desk has turned into a fire hazard and I was using 3 6 outlet power strips to keep my computer and all sorts of electronics powered. But it was a mess and a fire hazard and if there was ever a spike, my gear would be fried.
So I went ahead and purchased the 10' adapter to get the 12 outlet version. The 6 outlets on the side were spaced enough that I could plug things that had larger transformers into them and not run into any problems.
Overall, I'm happy. My desk is less of a fire hazard and I'm glad that I have a proper surge protector and I can find which outlets go to what gear.
