If you were like me you have a tangle of cords and extentions going into outlets like an octopus that would make a Fire Marshall cringe. Around my HDTV center I have so many electrical devices between TV, BluRay Player, Satellite Receiver, Home Stereo, Speakers, PC, Wii, External hardrive, wireless bridge, etc, etc, that I had run out of wall outlet space and was seriously an overloaded and tangled mess. Not anymore. Now I have all my electrical connections in One Place and the handy included cord organizer is a help too. All of my large block type power plugs fit nicely into the 6 perimeter recepticals and leaves plenty of room for the regular plugs to go in the middle.
I bought 2 of these as next I have to tackle the tangle mess that is in my computer room.
A Great product at a Great Price...what more is there to say?

I finally have ALL my cords off the floor. It is lightweight and because of the width being just right it balances on top of a small square plastic basket I have under a table near my computer. So many surge protectors are very narrow. The Belkin is not bulky at all. The 8 foot cord is very convenient to place pretty much anywhere near my computer. The outlets lock on to the prongs and they are very easy to insert. They are extremely secure in the outlets with no chance of the metal prongs getting loose or being exposed. I don't have to worry about the wheels of my chair running over the cords anymore. 12 outlets is more than enough for me, I have outlets to spare.. The sockets are spaced so you can plug in the large 3 inch boxes without over crowding. I am really thrilled with this and would highly recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: Nicely designed 5 star In all ways

This Belkin Surge Protector Is the Mother of Surge Protectors!!
It can have 6 3prong outlets down the middle, then 3 on each side so you can plug In all the big ended stiff In your component system. for 12 total!! The phone and ethernet cables are a big plus too for one of the nicest I've ever seen even In all kinds hardware stores. Forget the junk In drug stores compared to this. I OWN 2 I bought a second one for my other system to replace what I was using there.
Then there's the deal with buying It and a 2 meter HDMI cable with It and you end up getting the HDMI cable for less than $2 which we will all will need a lot of In the future and some go bad so It's a phenominal deal altogether!!!! Very sweet deal gold tipped cable too. Not cheap silver.
You get 4156 joules and $300,000.00 In Protection!!!!

The surge protector my husband had was about a hundred years old. Well, not literally, but I thought it a good idea to get something from this century, not 1995.
What can one say about surge protectors? You only know how great they are if something happens and they DON'T work! Let's hope not.
I like about this surge suppressor that it has 6 big places (3 on each side) to plug in those big transformer plugs that take up so much space. Then there are 6 receptacles running down the center for your more normal plugs. There are also coax plugs and a phone plug. A 10 foot cord completes the unit. It also has indicator lights on it, red for not working and green for protecting.
All in all, this is just what I needed at a reasonable price, and I am quite pleased with it.

Recently we purchased a Sharp Aquos HD flat panel LCD televsion from J&R Music World. I wanted to protect my investment so I purchased the Belkin Outlet Home protector from Amazon.com.
After 3 days, I did not receive the Belkin protector unit. Amazon's delivery policy is not what it use to be--I use to receive items in a couple of days, now I have to wait a week.
Anyway, in the interim, I went back to J&R Music World and purchased a Monster surge protector. When I received the Belkin from Amazon, the quality difference was quite noticeable. The Belkin is truly a superb protector and it is half the price of the Monster unit. I would definately buy the Belkin again, but if you're anxious to use it quickly, I suggest purchasing it at a local store.
