Not having any knowledge of hearing aids for tv, I went to Consumers Report and Amazon reviews. When I saw these and read the reviews, it sounded like what I hand in mind..... wireless, not too cumbersome, inexpensive, easy set up. I have been completely delighted with this headphone. My wife loves it also since I don't blast her out of the room. Actually, my hearing is not too much of a problem but watching tv in the bedroom while my wife wants to go to sleep is the major snafu. Also the headset is comfortable. The other application for the headset is if you need the volume louder than your wife can stand, you can turn up the volume on your headset. So these are perfect and cheap enough that you can buy a set for another tv which is what I am going to do when I finish this review. This purchase was for my son-in-law for Christmas (at my daughter's request). He was so pleased with it that he raved to my husband, who then had to have one himself. It's so quiet at my house now that I forget he's even there sometimes! Very easy to connect (but keep in mind that you may have to use the speaker mike if you have an older TV) & the sound is quite good. The transmitter plugs into an electrical outlet, which means you don't have to cut it off every time you use it, unlike other battery-operated transmitters. This is the BEST item I have purchased. Now hubby can sleep peacefully while I watch TV.
Dollar Rite (1-866-577-8144) is the place I purchased it.
I have called them a few times with questions about this product(and other products) and they were so helpful. They were kind and considerate and went out of their way to help. I will do business with them again and I highly recommend them to everyone else.

What a great product! I am hearing impaired and have been all of my life. I ordered the Bebe Sounds TV Listener because not only did I listen to my TV, but my neighbors up the street got to listen to my TV too! The kit comes with every connection jack imaginable and the instructions for installing the listener in conjuction with various sound systems, DVD/VCR players, etc. were easy to follow. It even comes with a microphone, which for my old TV was the only thing that worked. But work it did and I am VERY pleased. I can now listen to a movie and hear everything, even the soft background noises that I could not hear before.Customer Review: We liked the first one so much, we bought another one.

These headphones were easy to set up and make TV listening a pleasure. On top of that you get the added benefits of surround sound without buying expensive surround sound equipment. I am hearing impaired and the headphones fit comfortably over my hearing aids with no feedback. Now I can hear everything without driving everyone else out of the room. My husband likes to wear the headphones for the surround sound effects. I tried more expensive wireless headphones before, and ended up sending them back because of static and problems with the wireless signal. No such problems with the TV listener. I am very happy with this purchase.
