My mother is 83 and quite deaf. She has hearing aids, but they frustrate her, and with them on, she has difficulty making out the words spoken on TV and at the movies. I was a little reluctant to buy her this product because the reviews, though good, weren't overwhelmingly good, and my mother is very picky and easily frustrated. However, the headphones were much less expensive than competitors with worse reviews so I gave them a try. I hooked them up, so I can say without reservation that that was as simple as pie. I received a thank-you note from my mother saying that the headphones work great. Believe me, she would not use that word unless they really were great. I am so happy to have bought a gift that pleases and that has restored my mother's enjoyment of television. I gave 5 stars in all of the categories, but I can't really give a fine-tuned review, since I don't need the headphones myself. I did try them, and they were comfortable, and Mom says they work. I don't think you should hesitate if you are on the fence like I was.Customer Review: I love it!!!

This product works great!!! I have been looking for wireless headphones everywhere and they are just so expensive, I did not want to spend over 60 dollars. I saw this product and the price was perfect. I was worried I would not be able to use on my new LCD television, but it come with all different attachments for the new to older systems. It has a knob on the headset for the volume, which I recommend you keep low and the volume on the TV high to prevent static. We love this product!!! On the weekends my husband is an early riser and he likes to watch his shows on HD with this he is able to do so without disturbing anyone, I can read the paper, or a book sit next to him and not be distracted. I like to watch movies at night and if he has work to do or is sleeping I can watch TV and I have no worries. Highly recommend it. I have had it for one month and we have used it for at least 90 hours and the batteries on the headset are still going strong.

This is a terrific product. My 30-year old daughter surfed the net to find a pair for watching tv at bedtime while not disturbing her husband. She recommended the TV Listener to me for the same purpose, and I was elated at the reasonable pricing and crisp stereo sound resolution.
My mom came to live with us...she is hard of hearing, so I bought two more; one for the theater room and one for her bedroom. The volume adjustment is on the headset and is battery powered. We can keep the volume on the tv at a reasonable level and she can turn the headphones up as high as need be.
As long as the batteries are good, there is no static and the stereo effect is noticeable. The headphones are comfortable--we've all fallen asleep wearing them---turning them off after use will prolong battery life. Reception range IS limited, so don't try to run to the kitchen for a snack. I've not tried Unisar's other models, but highly recommend this product.

I bought this headset because my husband enjoys watching TV before bed, I don't AND he likes the TV loud. So loud that I cannot fall asleep without constantly telling him to turn it off or go to another room. So to allow myself to go to sleep and him to enjoy his late night television, I bought this for his birthday. It works very well, installed quickly and we have no complaints! I was worried about outside interference as we have 2 computers in our room and this has caused no problems. I personally didn't do any of the installation for this item, but within moments he was happily watching something, so it can't be too tough. We also have direct tv and a sling box and have encountered no interference or trouble getting reception. Overall, for a fair price I would highly recommend these headphones for a great way to allow each person to have a night they prefer, whether that be sleeping or watching television!Customer Review: Heaven Sent

This "listening" device was one of the best purchases I have ever made. My Mother lost her hearing aid at the nursing home, and she is almost totally deaf. These headphones have a clarity that I would never have believed on something that cost so little. We (family and friends), use the microphone when we visit with Mama, and she wears the headphones, so we are able to speak to each other without screaming all the time! On top of allowing her to hear and enjoy T.V., we have utilized this in a much more important way. This company sent my order out so fast, I received it the next afternoon after I ordered it! Thank you so much!! I strongly recommend this item to anyone that needs to hear better, and I also recommend this company for their prompt handling of my order. I will definitely remember you when I shop in the future.
