Finding cases for the 4th Generation iPod Nano is almost impossible at local outlets. That's because they only stock the cases for the 5th Generation Nano. Both look similar, but the newer 5th Gen one has a cutout for the camera that the 4th Gen iPod Nano doesn't have. One very important feature of this particular case is that you can fully seat the headphone jack all the way into the receptacle. I had another one of these a few years ago, and the design was such that the headphone plug couldn't fully seat into the iPod receptacle. Not a good thing, which rendered the case practically useless. This one is perfectly designed, and perfectly priced.Customer Review: Great product, great price

I just got mine today and am so very happy with it. It took a second to figure out how to get it on, but after that it is great. I think it actually makes the click wheel easier to use, gives a little resistance so my hand doesn't move as quickly.
And the price is unbeatable! After seeing this item for $15-20 in stores I was excited to see it here for so low a price. I saw colorful silicon cases in the stores too, but I bought the color iPod I wanted (purple) and didn't want to cover it with another color.
Overall great product and I couldn't be happier.

I love this case for my 4G 16GB ipod nano. Snaps on easy. Good quality and clarity of the plastic. Keeps ipod nice and secure without shifting within the case. Top, bottom, and edges around screen and click wheel are slightly built up for added protection. Can not beat the price for this quality-same type of case in retail store was several times more expensive.Addendum: The case has a cut-out for the screen/doesn't protect the screen. when i ordered this cover for my ipod nano i didn't know what to expect since the price was so cheap, i thought the item would be cheap too.
however, this is a good cover case because it snapped on my ipod very easily, and its also to take off. it protects my ipod very well also. i recommend it to anyone who not only wants a cover case for their nano but also wants to show off the color.

Like other reviewers, I got the pink 4th generation 8 GB iPod I really wanted -- and didn't want to cover up the awesome color! This case fits my iPod perfectly and prevents it from moving or clanging against the plastic. I feel much better knowing it's protected. I bought a screen protector, too, and have been very happy with the cover and this case. And how can you beat the price? Definitely recommended!
