Customer Review: High Speed
Summary: 5 Stars
Bose's premier iPod player, the 18-pound SoundDock 10, costs $1.87 an ounce. In comparison, the 2.5-pound MusicMonitor is $8.75 per ounce. Although I'm playing, the math is nonetheless true. And the conclusion we can logically make is that no reasonable person will buy the MusicMonitor; it's just too expensive.
However, the MusicMonitor isn't meant for bargain hunters. I then had to save over time because I knew I was after something special. That is, no other speaker in the world can match the MusicMonitor's small size and big performance. Because the speakers are Coke-can small, they're able to fit in tight places. Plus, they're travel-ready with the optional case.
Whatever the situation, these little guys will bewilder you with what you'll hear. Because the MusicMonitor won't just fill a room full of sound, it has the capability to light up a house. When it does, the sound remains incredibly clear. And that sound is housed within an elegant heavy metal case. The rest of the parts is also high quality. The speakers even have a proud look as they direct sound upwards 15 degrees.
Unfortunately, there's no headphone jack. Even so, I can still write more good things about the MusicMonitor. But none is as important as to let you know that it's for those who want superior performance in the stealthiest dimension. And the U.S. Marine Corps has a slang for a product that fulfills that requirement: high speed.
