I am happy with this purchase. In my elementary school computer lab we sometimes have a need for two students to listen on one computer. The price of this item was low enough for me to outfit the entire lab for under $40. The item is easy enough to use that I can simply hand them out to the students and they can install them. We have even been able to "piggyback" them so that we had three students listening at one computer and all three could hear just fine.Customer Review: Well made with thick gauged wires.

Well made and does the job..I recently bought several splitters and have to say this is a good sturdy one which does the job .
I also bought the Monster splitter which has it's own individual volume control and mute button for each listener which is made better.
Don't get me wrong this is well made and would be my first choice if there was no monster version which wasn't expensive.
Works with my HD Zune

Anyone running Windows 7 can use this splitter to loop a male/male 3.5mm cable back into the computer's microphone jack to record live audio. Also, I've seen the lead warnings and decided to test the splitter with a lead test kit. Both the exposed metal and the white plastic were tested and came up clean. No lead detected. I'll see if I can post some pics under "customer images".

I work in the computer lab in an elementary school. We only have enough computers for half a class, so if a full class comes in, for the kids to use the educational software, in the past we had to unplug the headphones so two kids could work on each machine, and the noise level in the room got ridiculous. With the splitters, we can now run 2 sets of headphones on each computer, and things are peaceful again.

Okay, call me strange but I got this headphone splitter for those summer evenings when my husband and I are sitting around in the back yard and want to hear some music (and maybe dance) without disturbing the neighbors. I plug it into my iPod, plug a set of headphones in each thingy and we're set to boogie! Oh and this is an awesome price for so much fun!! What is it with Belkin-I love everything they make!
