I bought the jvc version from family dollar same price there pretty mutch the same any ways 2 people can have 2 head sets and listen to the same music I recomend getting the 6 ft cord too it plugs into the tv and the splitter but leaves you only one spot to put headphones in if you want to do that youd have to get another splitter and plug the other splitter into the other an vouala it also allows you to listen to 2 devices when you get the 6ft cord or the tv and radio if you keep getting splitters and 6 ft cords you can listen to al your audio devices at once like psp,ipod,mp3 etc. Tired if only useing one earbud instead of 2 when useing certian mp3s and tvs well I have the solution because Im tired of seenig people suffering in one ear at a time if you could use both you would right I know I do the soloution is get a head phone splitter its real cheap so theres no excuse the 6 ft cable is cheap too when you get the splitter just plug the splitter into your mp3 or tv it may be too fat but the 6 ft cord isnt so if its to fat get both then you plug youre head phones half way in the splitter if that doesnt work turn it till it works if it still doesnt work put the head phone on that gets no sound and keep plugging and unplugging dont forget to turn it if it still doesnt work its your device or head phones jvc gummy earbuds, ipod head phones and psp head phones work I dont know about any other head phones but I will be trying loud ones that block out sound and ill report if they do the same.Customer Review: Just what I needed - a great option

I was traveling to Las Vegas with a friend and the plane ride was long. We were using a Samsung GO N310-13GB 10.1-Inch Midnight Blue Netbook - 9 Hour Battery Life and watching Vegas Vacation (Widescreen Edition). This little splitter worked great with our headphones (we used the stock iPhone headphones) and we were able to watch the movie and hear it even through all of the airplane noises. It was great.
This little splitter is worth having around for those times when you just want to share a movie, songs, whatever. It can work in laptops, netbooks, smartphones ...
The construction is well done and it's just a simple splitter. There is not much more I can say about it except that we were able to hear our movie over airplane noises and I did not notice a great loss in volume or tone.
I liked having it and will continue to keep it for traveling.

This audio splitter is great. Not only is it white, which in my opinion looks better, and is more "stylish" compared with the generic Black kind. The connectors are also gold plated, though product specs say it is nickel plated, making the audio loss a minimum. I personally bought 3 of these, which I connected into one audio output from my computer resulting in making my one audio output into 4. These splitters work great, since the two female connectors are separate, it doesn't interfere with how big the audio plug is. (for those 3.5mm plugs that are so fat, you have to squeeze to fit other plugs in) I havn't had any problems with these, no audio loss, sound isnt cracking like other splitters. Personally, from my experience these are cheaper in price, but better in quality. Two thumbs up.Customer Review: Works great with Zune

I have a second generation Zune and often would download interesting podcast I would like to share simultaneously with my wife. This Belkin splitter works perfectly without compromising sound quality. Here are some additional points:

-This headphone splitter is compact so is easily for travel.
-The sound quality is great
-Durable
-Works with all standard media player headphones.
-Great volume level. Individual headphone volumes do vary. If you use the SAME type/brand headphone then the volume balance will be equivalent. I have multiple brands of headphones and some were noted to be slightly louder than others, but that was expected.

-None, it does what it was designed to do.

I was concerned that perhaps splitting the line level output from the audio jack on the computer and feeding it to the speakers on the desktop AND the receiver in the living room would end up meaning that I would get insufficient output to drive both, and especially driving the signal through the 50 feet of cable required to get to the receiver. However, this, combined with a heavy duty 50 foot audio cable I bought here on Amazon (Premium 2 RCA Male to 3.5mm Stereo Male, 50 ft) does exactly what I want, and everything works as it should. I notice no reduction in the audio from the desktop speakers, and the receiver is getting plenty of input as well. Very pleased.
