I have owned this headset for a year now and I love it. I am hard of hearing and I have a hard time hearing the tv because my apartment has a 9 foot ceiling which makes it difficult for me to hear the TV. I use this headset often for my favorite tv shows and movies. I'm amazed how I can hear the music in the background during the shows and movies. It's also great for my toddler daughter who needs quiet time during her sleeping hours. I have the transmitter plugged in the cable box which makes the sound quality better. I use a rechargable AAA battery which needs to be charge once a month. Watching TV has never been better for me without this headset.
Occasionally the headset would hurt my left ear because of the pressure with a hearing aid and glasses. It doesn't hurt for the first hour but if I watch more than 2 hours of TV with this on, it start hurts.
Overall, this headset has changed my world on TV. I can't imagine being without it.
