Remember, you get what you pay for. The item has a few interesting features listed and this, (and the price) is what initially caught my eye. Unfortunately when I fired the device up I was greeted with an ugly UI (always a surprise as this is just software), a poor resolution screen and unbelievably long load times when you try to go forward or backward through the pictures. I had purchased this for a girlfriend but I was so embarrassed by its poor performance I went a purchased a more expensive picture frame from Best Buy.
This one is going in the gift pile to be used for x-mas rewrapping.

Had this product for two months before it started to behave intermittently. The slide show would sometimes freeze and trouble with it in powering on. After a year there were horizantal lines on it. This sat in a safe corner of the room so there was not any mishandling of the device. Kept the pics down to the products resolution and kept the pics to less than a count of 50 in one folder to ensure better functionality from the device. After reading many reviews the product either works or it doesn't work. And if it does work it's a matter of time it will not work. Most users in the reviews seem to be pretty much in the know of what they are doing and I trust their opinions on the CONS of this device. I'd strongly recommend taking the time and purchase one at WalMart.Customer Review: Worth the price if it is free

I got this frame for free, so I can't complain about the price. Now that I have it, I know that I wouldn't buy it.
The remote is cheaply constructed and the battery doesn't sit well in it. To make it work I have to not only squeeze the right button, but squeeze the battery compartment to ensure a contact. Even then, it doesn't always work.
Occasionally the frame forgets that I have a USB drive in it and starts to cycle through the stock photos it came with. It took me a long time to figure out turning it off an on again doesn't fix anything, but removing the power cable and plugging it back in does.

Asked again:"Will you be so kind to tell me exactly which formats does it play? There are more than 30 video formats...
Textual Answer:"All excerpt VCD's." Signed by Reginald K. Johnson
Third email: Are u sure you want to work in customer service? I'm planning not to buy the equipment due to your help.
2 weeks and still no answer...

I had high hopes for this product until I read the users manual. The documentation was poor- inadequate instruction and not written by a native English speaker. Photos loaded in an arbitrary order, ignoring the list on my USB drive, and the sort function was absent. Sound was adequate, with only one speaker. Although there seemed to be the option of cycling only once through the photos, it either didn't work or the instructions were incorrect,
