This shredder replaces a more expensive one which finally gave up the ghost after many years. I compared several brands and compared prices and found this one to my liking. It is small, compact and easy to use. So far I have had no problems but haven't tried credit cards but shredding those has never been my main concern.
For the money I feel it is a very good purchase. I highly recommend it for people who only have the normal family items to shred (junk mail, etc)

I wasn't real happy with this shredder when I first tried it. No matter what i did the paper got stuck in the center. Its supposed to shred up to 8 sheets but even 2 sheets made the motor bind. I contacted the company and they sent me out another one totally free of charge. It works great and is just as good as advertised. I guess I had a lemon to begin with but the company took care of the problem easily and with out hassel. One of the best I have ever used.Customer Review: Inexpensive. Does the job.

I purchased this particular crosscut shredder honestly because it was the cheapest one at this size I could find. It works well for me. It does the job quietly and efficiently. It's rated to do 8 sheets at a time, but I don't push it that hard. I limit it to no more than 6 sheets at a time, and it shreds them effortlessly. Very high quality shredder. Works very well. I only used it for personal documents and have not used it for any real length of time, but appears to be well made and is better than the previous brand of shredder that I have used. I do realize it's made in China. I try to stay away from products made there, but it is impossible. This unit must be a strict quality control because I would have guessed it was made in USA.

This shredder is a surprise. When it came we all thought it wouldn't last a typical week
of shredding. Not only did it take in 8 pages of paper at a time, it never once jammed!
Then came the credit card test. There is a special slot in the center for the cards.
Shredded it up just like the paper, effortlessly. If you are looking for a great home
or small office shredder...look no further.
