My last shredder lasted me over 10 years, but did not shred anything other than paper. So I find this Aurora shredder very effective and does a nice job with credit cards & CDs. I do wish the basket were a little bigger though. I don't mind the noise much. All and all, I'm pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't need anything fancy or beyond your average household shredding needs.Customer Review: Great shredder

The unit works well, has not jammed, but pushing the recommended number of sheets should be avoided. The container, the unit comes with, is small and needs to be emptied more often than many might be desired. A larger container can be used, as the unit is adjustable, but the structural aspects of the design might not support this long term. The shredder is really good! My old one started aging and I was looking for something more cost friendly yet I didn't want to sacrifice the quality! This shredder is really good! The blade is super sharp and I love the fact that it has three compartments: One for paper, 2nd for CD and 3rd for credit card!
I have to admit that it is quiet noisy but doesn't really last for that long so it is tolerable!

This is the third shredder that I have purchased, the first was Fellowes, the second was Ativa. I shred alot of junk mail with personal information pretty much on a daily basis, and have found the Aurora outperforms the previous two shredders by far. This little shredder has not had the first problem with jamming or overheating. I find it to be a great product at a very good price. Overall, great buy.Customer Review: Excellent value for the price

I just got mine a few days ago and am very impressed with it so far. I was skeptical at first, given the price, that it would work very well. I decided to buy it am very satisfied. It's quiet when shredding and easily handles eight sheets of paper. It even has a pull-out attachment to place on a larger waste can if needed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good, inexpensive shredder.
