This Audiovox will make an otherwise boring, sleepy drive for my daughter and keep her occupied with something other than my driving. Am disapointed in the screen mode. It is a wide screen display, but a wide screen movie leaves so much space at top and bottom that the picture is rather small. We bought this for our two year old to take on her first road trip. It worked great! We played it for five hours straight and never had a problem with it. What I like about this DVD player is that it works and works well! The volume is plenty loud-I find myself turning it down on most occasions. We also purchased headphones with a volume knob on the cord for our daughter to control it herself-very convenient! We bought one of these for our daughter to watch her baby einsteins as soon as she turned around to forward facing in the carseat. What a difference! Our car rides are now pleasant. I didn't expect the quality of this product to be so high. I purchased this as a learning tool for my grandaughter in my car ~ didn't expect anything so good that my teenaged duaghter watches her movies while we travel! My daughter said the sound and picture quality are "killer".
