Small and light enough to travel with but the screen is actually big enough to see the picture. The headphones are great and the sound is good with either the headphones on or off. The controls are easy enough to use that my 7 year old didn't need my help in the back of the car. So all in all the dvd player has good sound, good picture, it doesn't skip and the extras make this an great buy.Customer Review: good dvd player for adults, too

I wanted a portable dvd player to take with me on trips so that I could continue following my
dvd yoga routines. The player is great as are the carrier and all the other extras that were included. I certainly would recommend the product to be used by an adult or a child. I'm very happy with my selection of Audiovox. The headphones definitely enhance the otherwise mediocre sound.

I bought this to entertain my toddler grandson on a long car ride to Florida. It worked like a charm. The strap to hang it with is a little long but we just pulled it up and made a slip knot. It seems very durable (it got dropped a couple of times). The picture is good and it works with or without the headphones. The case is great to store everything in. Bought this unit for our 3 yr old grandson to use on a week long vacation. Worked great right out of the box. Battery last apprx 2 hrs, not the 2-3 hrs they say but we use a car adapter anyway. I would recommend this unit for a low end DVD player.Headphones sound like a much higher priced unit. We moved unit froom truck to motel regulary never missed a beat. Paid $50 less here on Amazon than a local well known department store. Everything we needed was included. Very impressed with both the sound and the picture. I have a disabled son with a multitude of appointments and hospitalizations. This has been a God send in minimizing the agony of waiting. Perfect for those long car rides. WELL worth the money!
