i purchased this dvd player to be used in our car for long trips for my 4 year old. we used it on our vacation which was about a 7 hour drive. he was able to watch several movies. we hooked the jack up to the adapter in the car so we didn't have to worry about the battery running out. the player comes with a case that works as a holder when you hang it on the back of the front seat. i forgot we didn't have headrests, but we were still able to make it work. it comes with all the cords and chargers that you need and 2 headphones and a remote. my son likes to be able to pause the movie himself, so he really liked to hold the remote. overall, i have been very pleased with the player. when looking to purchase one, this had the best reviews. we will see how it holds up.Customer Review: AWESOME deal

We researched DVD players for months and months and this is by far the best deal out there. We've had no problems with this and have used it on car trips and also just for watching movies in different rooms in the house. The picture quality is very good and the speakers were loud enough for everyone to hear. We loved the option of plugging it in with our AUX cable and having the sound come through the speakers in our van. The remote is really helpful to control the DVD player when it is set up in the back of the vehicle and we felt like the car mounting bag was sturdy enough that we never had to worry about it.
We would totally buy it again and have recommended it to friends looking for portable DVD players.

We bought these for Christmas for our girls to go on the long trips. they really loved them. couple of minor issues, i foudn it difficult to figure out out to put the player in case while viewing (i assumed that it could be "wrapped" in the case, probably just could not find the directions. Also, just make sure that if the kids shut it down that they remember to put the elastic band inside the player before closing. There are no sides to the case and if the player is not secured by the elastic band/bands it can easily slip out and fall on the floor. Girls enjoyed this very much, good sound, might not be the best earphones but overall excellent purchase and well worth the cost.Customer Review: As-expected

We bought this portable DVD for our 8-month-old granddaughter while we are driving or eating in a restaurant. It has good sound quality and sharp image and the size (7 inch) is compact to carry but not too small to watch. We like it comes with everything with car charger, two headphones and one A/V adaptor at a very reasonable price. But you have to buy another 3-to-3 (yellow, white, red probe) A/V adaptor in order to hook to TV monitor to enlarge the image. Overall, we think this is a very good product package as other reviewers said befor we bought it.

The convenience of this dvd player, with it's own carrying case, and accessories, is topped only by the quality of audio/video playback. Only 4 starts for the headphones as they are a little flimsy, but I guess that's to be expected, given they must fold up upon themselves for storage, in the compact carrying case. The player is the second one we now set up in our minivan for long trips. One for our older boys, and one for the youngest, who needs to watch his own dvds. The most important thing: happy, engaged children on a long trip to and from grandma's.
