With regards to the actual product, it does exactly what it should. It's sturdy, well built, the flexible neck is rigid enough that it doesn't flop over. My biggest complaint is that it didn't work with my case that I had. It was by no means a bulky case, however it was a soft rubber case and I just switched to a plastic case that had more room around the charging port. The app works well, I wish did a few things differently, but that is not regarding this specific product. The FM transmitter seemed a little strange that it would work better on channels that sounded like it had a little music, than channels that were completely static. I thought that was weird. Anyway, it over powers the "semi-static" stations and sounds great.Customer Review: I absolutely love my SkyDock.

I purchased the XM Skydock for my vehicle and I absolutely love it! The Skydock app works well on my Iphone and I haven't had any problems receiving or making phone calls via my vehicle's built-in bluetooth while using the SkyDock. According to XM, the app will be updated soon to be compatible with Apple's IOS 4.0 multitasking. The built in FM transmitter is surprisingly good, but I still chose to install the Sirius FM direct adapter (Audiovox Sirius FMDA25 FM Direct Adapter (Black)) to further improve the sound quality of my SkyDock. A Home Run from XM!!! I have had many stand alone satellite radios in the past. This one is by far the best. I purchased the Sky Dock for my wife's Chrysler Pacifica. The car has no aux input for her to plug her iPod or XM radio into and radios with FM modulators in the past have not worked very well in our area. I had the SkyDock up and running in 20 min. The iPod app works great! It's very easy to see, use and the sound quality was better than expected. The "FM injector" in the Sky Dock is the best one I've ever tried. Now that my wife has the Sky Dock she never leaves home without her iPod. We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend this radio to anyone.

This dock is probably the best accessory i bought for my iPhone and i've been an iPhone owner since the 2G came out.
It charges the phone fast and the FM transmitter is powerful, if you find a station that has static or a weak signal it will definitely work. If your iPhone is jailbroken is great to use with backgrounder and listen to radio while you use any GPS application. If your are thinking on buying it, I would recommend not to think it to much and just go ahead and buy it.
Some people complain about having to pay for XM radio, but you can just go ahead and download the app to set up the FM transmitter and use it with your stored music.

I already had an Ipod touch so when I wanted to get satellite radio for my car it seemed to make sense to get the skydock. It's nice that I can easily switch between xm radio and songs on my ipod and it charges my ipod at the same time (my old wireless ipod transmitter wouldn't charge my newer model ipod touch). The only negative is that I live in a big metro area, so there was a lot of static with the wireless transmitter. I had to purchase the FM direct adapter so I could hook it directly into the radio. That solved the problem completely, no more static. All-in-all the skydock is a great product and I am very happy with my purchase.
