I got these stands because they were fairly cheap compared to some other ones. The reviews were nothing but good in my opinion and the price was just right .This is what persuaded me in purchasing them which is well worth it. The construction is pretty durable. What is cool about the stands is the wires go down the tube, making the stand a perfect in the corner without out any wires showing expect for the very bottom when you run the to receiver or surround sound system. The assembly wasn't too bad, but you will need the basic tool the screwdriver :). Overall I love these stands as I can hear the rear speakers better.Customer Review: Great product and great value

These stands are a very good value, can't ask for more given the price. However, it's lucky I'm handy as there was not a good way out of the box to mount my Polk Audio surround speakers.
I had to fab up aluminum brackets to go from the back loops to the mounting holes on the back of the speakers because the loops didn't reach high enough to the holes. And I had to drill holes in the plates that hold the speakers because there was no other way for the speaker wire to exit the hole where it threads up through the base.
So, with some assembly required, these turned out fine.

For the price these stands are built like tanks. The base is quite heavy and the support rods are very sturdy. The three leg design of base might let a really heavy speaker become unsteady on thick carpet but that's the only functional issue I can see as a possible problem (although I didn't experience this with my setup). All hardware is included for differnt mounting styles and the wire can be fed through the support rods for a neat install.
Although these probably aren't the sexiest stands out there, they get the job done at a very good price and are built to last.

We have looked at stands before for our home theatre system but not wanted to spend $60-100 per stand. Used plants stands w/small square top for $20.00 each! These stands are well constructed and worked great for our system. Small problem with attaching, but my husband used a double backed tape on the bottom of the speakers to where they sit on the stand and this is working well so far. Stands are on carpet and are remaining in place very well. I would definitely recommend them! They are a great value that you won't find with any other stands I've seen.Customer Review: Work great!

These were exactly what we needed for our Sony speakers. It seemed silly to have surround sound speakers that were sitting next to each other in front of the TV! I finally broke down and ordered these and I'm glad I did. They were super easy to put together and they had several different ways to attach the speakers. Ours are sitting on carpet without a problem but they're off in the corners of the room so we don't have to worry about them getting bumped in to. The base has just enough weight to allow them to be sturdy without being obtrusive.
