If you're into surround sound or DTS, you're going to need speaker stands, as most speaker systems don't include them. I like these as the flat black color makes them disappear in the room (choose your wood or metal finish carefully). The triangular base really does a great job at keeping them sturdy (although most speakers made nowadays are bomb proof). Depending on your couch or easy-chair, you can adjust the height (up to four feet-two inches), which many stands cannot do. Also, the speaker wire enters the bottom of the stand and is hidden inside the pole - a very nice little feature for purists. Plus, at less than $30 a pair, its a bargain!Customer Review: Great Speaker Stands at a great price!

Overall 4.5 stars. As always, great packaging from Amazon. The speaker stands look great and were super easy to install. I really like the adjustable height option and now has added some life to my whole entertainment system. I bought these for the new system Onkyo Ht-s 3300, which look great by the way, however the bolts supplied were never used since the only way and most convenient way was to use the double sided tape. Although the double sided tape provided a very nice suction to the stand, to be completely perfect would be to have some sort of screw for the Onkyo speakers specifically. Overall, I highly recommend these stands to anyone!Customer Review: Almost perfect fit

I'm using these stands with the Onkyo HT-S5100 7.1 home theater system. It wasn't a standard fit for any of the speakers, but they are sturdy stands with stable bases. Even though the front left and right speakers are much larger than the surround speakers, I found using wood screws in the mounting plates was easily accomplished, and the stands more than adequately supported all of them, even the ones outside the recommended specs.
As another reviewer noted, it's easy to overtighten the height adjustment ring, as it's easy to do. Aside from that, these are economical, unassuming, easy to set up, and very stable stands that just work.

I bought these for use with the satellite speakers on my Sony HTS-S370 5.1 system. The stands worked great. The Sony speakers were a little thin for the platform on the stands and would have looked bad with the front of the platforms sticking out in front of the speakers, making the speakers look too small for the stands (imagine a little kid in a big chair). So I placed many washers in the back on the mounting screws to push the speakers forward to the front of the platforms. It looks great! Otherwise, these stands look stylish, are nicely adjustable, and hold the speakers well - all for a good price. I recommend these stands highly.Customer Review: Good Product, Great Customer Service

I bought these stands because they looked nice,and would fit in with my decor. Very simple to assemble, love the speaker mounting options. If one can't mount their speakers, they either have the wrong size or some really weird speakers. I could only give 4 stars for construction quality, because the mounting platform were not level. The good part was, I contacted Atlantic customer service and no questions asked, they sent me replacements in a couple of days. Even better, I did not have to send back the defective pieces. Over all, I am very pleased with this product. Compared to other stands, these are a very good buy for the money.
