Customer Review: Great value, good for small speakers

I am very pleased with these speaker stands. I looked around and these were the best deal available. Many speaker stands are expensive, way too much for a simple item. I considered making something but that would have cost more and not been as good. These arrived quickly, and were very easy to set-up. They are stable (heavy base), they keep the wires hidden, and adjust from about 17" to 48" high. Attaching to my small satellite (surround) speakers was extremely easy. For the front speakers that are taller (about 10.5" tall), I had to slightly re-shape the "L" shaped wire bracket that holds the speaker to the stand using the screw hole in the back of the speaker. This took five minutes with pliers and a vice, to change the location of the bend. You can also use the two-sided tape to attach speakers to the base plate (which is about 3" square). I used the metal bracket, which seemed stronger, to attach the speakers. It goes from out the back of the base plate then up the back of the speaker to the screw hole on the back of the speaker. I am using these with the Panasonic SA-PT750 home theater system.Customer Review: Great speaker stands for any environment.

These stands are great for any room.
The cables to your speakers run through the bottom of the stands up to it, creating the appearance that they are wireless.
Many different methods of attaching speakers to the stands. Back screws if your speakers have a threaded hole the back, adhesive strips if it doesn't, and wood screws to put into the bottom if you're comfortable with that.
They have a big range of height which is great to adapt to different rooms.
Assembly isn't bad, but it's not just click it together quickly. Screws, lots of pieces, not too difficult for someone who's used to putting stuff together, but if you aren't it might take a bit to figure out.
Look at your room to decided between black or silver stands, I went with black, and wish I'd gotten silver because of the color of my speakers and other items around it in the room. Black will work for most, but just something to look at before buying.
I'd highly recommend them over any other stand out there, because of price, function, and simplicity.

I purchased these speaker stands to mount the satellites that came with my Pioneer HTS-GS1. I love them! They have several great features to them.
1) Price-at around 70 dollars shipped for four, you can't beat that.
2) Wire routing-you can route the speaker wire through the tube of the stand so that the wires remain hidden. Very important to me.
3) Height adjustability of stand- So you can optimize them at around ear level for better sound
4) quality-sturdy, they stay put and so far everything has worked perfectly
5) Mounting options-Gives you several different options so you are able to mount almost any type of speaker.
After trying to use a provided bolt and washer which didn't work too well, I just removed the L bracket and used the provided double sided tape which worked fine. I bought 5 sets of Wiremold White Cordmate C110 kits to conceal the wiring which went to each of the four satellite speakers, and it looks excellent. The stands really help to optimize the sound field, and they work and look great.

They have a heavy base and overall seem of good quality. Screws are included to get you started on your speaker. None worked for me. Had to go to the hardware store and use metric hex screws and a washer seal and a regular washer to rig my own setup from the bottom.
The speakers I used were the Klipsch ProMedia v2-400. The rage back in the 90's. I never bothered upgrading since these speakers since they sound so good with music AND games. I can't imagine it getting better.
Technical details:
You have to buy a allen wrench and saw the the short L part to be able to screw the hex screw down. Otherwise you have to get a philip ratchet wrench to reach the speaker screw on the speaker bottom then attach it with the philip ratched wrench then screw with hex screw down. But with the modified allen wrench you only have to worry about the speaker stand hex screw and a simple screw job to attach the Klipsch speaker stand to the Atlantic stand.
A bit hard to get the hex screw in the speaker stand, but once started it all fits.

I had a hard time finding speaker stands for my Polk Audio RM8 surround sound speaker until I came across these. They are of very simple design, yet look very good in the room and don't break the bank. When I was ordering them I thought the bottom plate was made of plastic and was wondering how they would hold my speakers, which weigh about 3lbs. The whole thing is solid steel. A bit rough looking though.
Although they weren't exactly designed for my speakers, which have a hole at the bottom, I managed to mount my speakers on the enclosed L bracket that I bent horizontally. Surprisingly the bracket, not the plate, holds them well even though they wobble a bit. I am not worried about them tipping over. They sit pretty well on it. Although L-bracket is of very sturdy construction and is flexible, I wish its legs were a bit thicker for my peace of mind.
Instructions are pretty straightforward. They assemble in less than 5 minutes. For $40, they are a great value for the money.
