I needed a way to store Blu-ray discs on a shelf in a horizontal arrangement and was dismayed to see how little was available. After searching without success for several weeks I finally decided to see if any of the storage designed for vertical application could be adapted to a horizontal format.
While checking out what was available on the web and in Amazon.com I ran across this rack and after checking dimensions determined that it might work.
Well hooray, it works just fine. I lay the racks on their back and slide them into the space available in my cabinet. Both DVD's and Blu-ray's work just fine which means I have much needed additional storage available for my collection.
If you need horizontal storage on a shelf, and the dimensions work, these racks are a useful alternative.
