Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Atlantic Drawbridge DRA280MM03 280 CD/112 DVD/BluRay/Games Wood Cabinet (Black)Customer Review: Great Buy!!!! Summary: 4 Stars
When I read some of the reviews I was a little afraid of purchasing this product, since the reviews were so mixed. I went ahead and ordered it though, since the price was good and it shipped free with prime. I got my order two days after I purchased it and it was in great condition. It was real easy to put together --) took me about 20 minutes. You'll need an electric strewdriver or drill to put it together. It's really sturdy though. One of the reviewers said they had to use wood glue; I didn't have that problem. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it had a weird smell to it from the oils used to treat the wood, which upset my allergies. I wiped it down good though and that helped. Other than that, I love it :)
Customer Review: Nice Little Shelf for the Money Summary: 4 Stars
After checking out these shelves and others on Amazon, I checked around town for any deals I could find. Oddly enough, I found the exact same shelves at Big Lots for $25. I picked up two, took them home, and had them both together within the space of 30 minutes. It was a simple process, no glue needed, everything fit into place and the hardware included was just fine. They're not real big, but sitting side by side against the wall they look great. Each had an extra shelf left over, as I set them up for DVD storage. They hold about 26 DVDs per shelf, depending on whether they're single or double DVDs and how tight you pack them.
Customer Review: Works fine with a little extra work Summary: 4 Stars
The complaints about the falling center shelf is so true (even with the little knobs put in the right way) - crappy design indeed. However I used a glue gun to glue the side panels and the back panel - after putting this piece together, just glue it between the side and back panels (in the back of the cabinet) while having someone else holding the side panels inwards. This made the shelf very sturdy. I filled it up and it's holding my collection very well. I won't try to move it full, as another reviewer tried, but I am quite confident that this won't fall apart any time soon.
Customer Review: not too bad Summary: 4 Stars
First, I thought it would be bigger. the picture makes it seem so. but it's a nice little shelf. I used a little wood glue when I assembled it because I'm paranoid. wood pegs and screws tend to weaken over time in particle board shelving, but with a little glue, it's a secure bond over the area, not just a 1" screw. I like the shelf a lot, I only wish it was a little bigger.
Customer Review: Know what you're getting. Summary: 4 Stars
This "multimedia cabinet" is made of junk. It's flimsy, it's kinda small, and it's made of cardboard (nearly anyway), but all that said, it was worth what I paid for it. Reading other reviews I knew not to have high expectations, and that's what I got! It holds most of my movies and has yet to crumple into a little heap. All and all, not bad.
