Customer Review: Love my Arriva!

I got my first iPod for Christmas (I know, I'm on the far end of the technology curve!) I was excited as I am a runner and hoped it would make my long runs a wee bit less monotonous. I became disenchanted very quickly as I couldn't keep the ear buds in and was frustrated with continually having to mess around with untangling the wires, catching them as I went to unzip my coat, etc.
I started looking on the internet for alternate ear buds and, fortunately, stumbled upon the Arriva headset. It sounded too good to be true, but after reading the mostly positive reviews I took the plunge and am so happy that I did!
It arrived on my doorstep in two days and is so simple to use that a kindergarter could figure it out. Although I do have to sheepishly admit that I wore it upside the first time because I refuse to read directions. I thought, hmmm . . . like 'em, but they're not that comfortable. Flipped 'em the right way, worked like a charm. So, read the directions, they're really not that complicated-I'm just stubborn.
Anyhow, love, love, love my Arriva headset. Rests lightly on my ears, doesn't move a millimeter as I run and the sound is good. I did see some criticism of their sound quality, but, let's be realistic-for $35 you are not going to get Bose quality sound. If you are expecting average sound quality you will be a happy camper. I am still getting used to manipulating the controls as the iPod rests at the base of your head and you have to remember what direction the controls are positioned in order to increase/decrease volume, move to the next song, etc.
The only thing that I really found tricky was deciding what size to order. After much consternation and nail biting, I decided that my head was on the small side of average and I went with the black in ear model. It fit perfectly. It comes with multiple sizes of ear buds as well as a small carrying pouch which fits neatly in your pocket when not in use.
In sum, if you are an athelete and looking for something that will allow you to listen to tunes while you work out with no fuss, I can't recommend the Arriva headset highly enough-worth every penny.
