This is a really great kit for removing old thermal compound and preparing the chip and heatsink surfaces for new thermal paste. I've used this stuff quite a few times, and it works really, really well. The remover is quite powerful, and will remove even stubborn, ancient paste that's gotten as hard as glue. I've used this to remove maybe types of thermal paste, including the amazingly tough stuff that was under my Asus Formula X48 motherboard's northbridge. The surface cleaner is really nice and helps clear away any traces of debris or remnants of the old compound. This stuff just works, and for the price, is a must have if you're building a computer or installing a new CPU.Customer Review: GET THIS STUFF, NO HASSLE REMOVER

I normally don't review products that I purchase off Amazon because I'm either :
1. Too lazy OR
2. The product works but isn't anything outstanding.
With that being said, this product does wonders for removing thermal paste off old CPU's and GPU's. I tried using alcohol before and it was taking FOREVER. I purchased this ArctiClean substance and it took me less than a minute to get the processors to a mirror shine.
I would without a doubt recommend this stuff if you are having any sort of trouble removing thermal paste off your processor.

After I bought the Artic Silver 5 for my new cpu I found I needed to clean it and the heatsink. I bought it here and received it in 2 days. The web site has very clear and explicit instructions on how to use it. The support is excellent and quick. I can highly recommend the product and the company.

When I bought Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal compound to replace the factory compound on my PS3, I ordered this kit as well.
Pros:
-Easy to use. It's clearly labeled one and two, with instructions on the back of the bottles.
-Works perfectly. Cleans and purifies the surface of the CPU and GPU for thermal paste application.

Bought this product with the Accelero S1 Rev2, used it to clean my XFX 8800GT and the least I can say is that it works great, just apply few drops from product1 and clean, then repeat the same with product2 and voila you're done and have a clean shiny area where you can apply your thermal paste or tape.
Would recommend it especially for the price I got it $ 2.95.
