I bought this as a Christmas present for my teen aged son. We subsequently added the web browser and movie downloader plug ins and it now acts as a portable computer for him along (despite being the size of a car GPS)with being an excellent music player. this is a Great PMP it does store allot of avi movies in Near Hd Video Quality ( Way Better Than the Video ipod 30gb ) and the sound Quality for both audio and movie audio is near 5.1 Surround sound it also can store
as a pdf reader it does do it but a little slow between pages and no bookmarking ability other than that it works well

I love this thing. 30 GB is plenty of space for a lot of movies and music. It makes traveling much more relaxing. The touch screen is very responsive and clear. Sound and picture are good.
Getting the docking station is a must. With it, it is easy to re-charge the battery and record DVDs to the player directly.

This is a great buy. Basically everything you can think of this thing has.
You can manage your files from the device, the pictures look great, and the dvr feature is awesome. The itouch doesnt have half of the features this has and its less expensive. Get it.
