Customer Review: Love this thing!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love my ipod. This thing is awesome. I have NO problems with it whatsoever. Advice, get a silicon case and a screen protector and you are all set. Every now and then I hit the wrong letter but for the most part no issue. You get used to it. I bought the 8gig only because I don't need any more than that. It's insane to get more than that for anyone who repeatedly plays the same songs and less of others. If you aren't using wifi just turn it off and the battery lasts much longer. I tend to charge this every day or every other day, sometimes 3 or more days after. The battery charging isn't an issue for me regardless. It's a small electronic device, what do you expect? The external volume control is okay. Not loud by any means but I suppose that is the point of getting the whole sound system for it. But the head phone volume is awesome, even too loud. And the earbuds are to big I think, that it hurts after a little while of wearing. Oh and when I first got it before uploading/downloading anything, at setup my computer told me it had only 7. Something of space, not 8gigs. minor detail but still misleading info of product. There are a decent amount of free apps to put on here. With all this said, I think anyone and everyone should have one. It's worth it.

Customer Review: Great pocket computer
Summary: 5 Stars

I got the iPod touch because I needed PDA functionality and because my old player partially bit the dust. I'm very impressed with the capacitive touchscreen and the easy-to-use finger-friendly user interface. More apps than you will ever need are available on the App Store, and once you jailbreak your iPod touch, you will unleash its full potential.

The web browser is excellent, and can display "desktop" versions of websites just fine. It supports JavaScript and (a big one for me) PDF files; however, it does not support flash. The WiFi range is not as good as my laptop, but it works on campus and in internet-enabled cafes.

I'm now using it on a daily basis to manage my time, browse the web whenever WiFi is in range, and pass the time when there is nothing else to do (such as at a bus stop).

The sound quality is inferior to that of my old player, and the joke of an equalizer just plain sucks. But this only holds true if you've used a higher-quality non-iPod music player or something like Rockbox, which has a far more advanced equalizer. On the iPod, you can only select presets, which are prone to producing distorted audio. But as mentioned before, I didn't buy the touch for high-quality audio.

Didn't really get what all of the "hoo ha" was about until I purchased one for my 11-year-old son for Christmas. WOW!! I've owned a couple of different iPods for years....and who would ever think that Apple would be able to improve upon near perfection? Welllll...they have. Minus the click wheel, this iPod, as the name implies, responds to touch; and the lack of the click wheel results in a bigger screen for viewing. And this screen delivers a near flawless picture...for viewing movies, videos, album art and the like.

Now gaming...with the Touch. Reminiscent of the Wii, the Touch responds to movement. So go ahead and play the ferrari racing game while "driving" using the entire Touch as the wheel. And remember having to connect to the PC to access the iTunes store? Not anymore. With WiFi capability, one need only access an available wireless network to download the latest music or games.....AWESOME.

Although I am the current owner of a perfectly fine iPod 30GB with that click wheel, I will have to pass it on to become the proud owner of a Touch. Besides....how can we let the kids--with no jobs--have more technology than the parents???

AMAZING PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY.

Customer Review: Wonderful!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got my itouch 2nd gen. yesterday. I've been playing with for a number of hours. It works great. No freezes or crashes. All apps work well. Music plays easily. Internet and email easy to set up and use. Wonderful device. There were some questions I wanted answered about the itouch and I'll give you the answers so you don't have to look around like i did.

1. Does it come with a charger?
Not a wall charger. It comes with a usb cable which will charge it, but your computer has to be on for it to do so.
2. Does it really have as much memory it says it has?
No. Most electronics don't. It is usually from a half gb to a gb taken for software. Keep this in mind when buying. If you get an 8 gb it really has about 7gb of free space!!
3. Is it worth it to buy a screen protector?
YES!!!!!! Go to your nearest iPlace store. They sell a two pack for $10. As soon as you get your iTouch, put one screen protector on (save the other). I can't tell you how many fingerprints are on mine already and I've only had it for a day!!

Make sure to download the newest version of itunes, or it won't work.

Worth the money. Only question is which size to get. (8,16,32)

Customer Review: Best product I ever purchased!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am writing this review one month before my ipod's 1 year aniversery.

I am SOOOOOO happy that i purchased this ipod.

The web browser is PHENOMINAL! The mail app could not be more easier to use!

The games are mildly entertaining, I thought they would be super boring.

There is one app i would like to comment on for a little. It is called Jaadu VNC.

Let's say you are on a business trip and you forgot a REALLY important document on your home computer. Do not fear!

With Jaadu VNC, you can access your home computer from anywhere in the world!

Now onto the actual iPod review.

The touch navigation is what drove me to originally buy this product. I love how easy it is to access the different features of this wonderfull piece of technology.

Sound quality ROCKS!

I also love how no matter what you are doing on the iPod, you can listen to music. Just double tap the home button to control the music.

Photo viewing is phenominal as well. You can zoom by just spreading your fingers apart.

If I could, I would give this ipod a 10 out of 5 star review, but i cant.
