I had been putting this off: buying an iPod Touch. Too small, too hard to type. But I'm traveling this summer, and I wanted a small computer, so I could read my news blogs, receive and send email. I also wanted to be able to carry a decent Italian dictionary in my pocket. I downloaded one from iTunes' Apps. A son challenged me to international chess. I hadn't played in 30 years, so I download a practice chess App. I have a German dictionary, a Spanish dictionary, an English dictionary, reference books, and something like 83 novels, who knows how much music, all in that little thing! I downloaded EasyWriter Pro and am practicing typing with two thumbs, perfect for a fiction writer: the two thumbs! I send the writings to my email, move them from there to my stories and novels. In short, I carry around a whole office in my pocket. Is it small? Yes. Is it too small? Not quite. More like an incredibly useful and fascinating toy, more wonderful than a Swiss Army knife, more powerful than a flying locomotive.Customer Review: Ipod touch

I ordered an ipod touch for my son after his got stolen. I had never ordered anything off the computer especially elecctronics so i was pretty nervous about it.Took a lot of time looking at them and deciding. I chose a seller with good reviews and good refund policy. This paid off. When we recieved the ipod it had a lot of scratches on te screen. This was not specified in the description so I wanted to send it back because my son did not want that. I emailed them saying we would send it back fora refund. They got back with me with an apology and offered to replaceit with a better one. They gave me instructions that I ask for and a label to use, they even paid for return shipping. We got the new one in good time and they upgraded for the problem. I am very pleased, they did not have to do all that, I didn't ask for anything. I think that is great customer service to keep that sale and future ones. I will always order from them when they have what I want.Customer Review: Bought TOOOOOOO soon

I purchased this product for my wife and she just loves it! I normally take the saver method of delivery because most electronic products I have purchased from Amazon have come from their Fernly, NV distribution point which is only 2 1/2 hours from me. It's a good thing that I chose regular delivery this time, because Amazon has chosen to use the USPS for these kind of shipments (You know, the Snail Mail people) and it took 8 DAYS for the shipment to get to me - - the LONGEST of any product that I have purchased from them!
Now the sad part - - I did not realize that mid-September is when Apple releases NEW products, so now the IPOD Touch (2nd Generation 32GB) that I purchased is NOW worth $95 less, even though it is less than 30-days old in useage. I could have saved the $95 by delaying my purchase by 3-weeks, but I would have been in trouble for not getting my wife her gift on time for her birthday.

....I wake up every day (more like afternoon, but anyways) and im still excited to use my 32gb iPod Touch 2g! Ive had it for a little over a month? maybe a month and a half? AND I LOVE IT! Often I will go looking for cool new apps and games that I can directly download to my iPod!!! Its so cool! Theres even business apps and apps that are made for something other than entertainment (you know, that grown up stuff haha.) Photos, music, movies, videos, games, wifi, notes...anything is possible. I just might sell my laptop cuz this is just like a computer itself. J/K Im never getting rid of my laptop. HAHA! Depending on your needs and wants...you might go with the 8gb or even the 16gb version of the iPod Touch...I, however, have lots of music and photos....and apps...and games. Hehe, I NEEDED THE BIG ONE!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to one of these. Its fun and extremely useful. :) Laters.Customer Review: Wow

Well I held off on getting the IPOD Touch until the 2G came out and I'm glad that I did.
Start off with the basics:
Pros:
1. Great interface
2. A ton of storage
3. Handles all of my MP3s, pictures, and videos
4. Great size. Easily fits in shirt pocket and is super thin.
4. Nice integration with Outlook. It's replaced my palm pilot as my PIM.
5. Side button for volume control is a very nice addition.
Cons:
1. Back scratches easily. I was able to get a nice plastic cover for it but not before scratching the back.
2. Battery life is just ok. Battery goes quick if wifi is enabled or you are touching the touch screen.
3. Mixed success in converting videos. Not so much of a player issue (I think) as it is a software issues.
Overall this is a fantastic video/mp3 player.
