This is my first Ipod ever and I really like it. Normally I go against the grain buy other brands because I'm no apple fan boy. Creative is my preferred choice of mp3. But I just love the features on this, while the inteface isn't as great as other players its still very sweet if you love gadgets. It is pricey but well worth every penny if you take care of it. Now on its own its very good, but when you use the Jailbreak program on this its 100 times better. I'm still no apple fanboy but I love this product!Customer Review: 4 Stars new 5 Stars broke.

This little jewel is BUCKS but worth it. I was so/so impressed with mine until I got finally found how to successfully jailbreak it. A jailbroke iPod Touch is simply the best thing in the world right now. Thin, sensitive, versatile and loads of utility packed in after a jailbreak.
With out being jailbroke the Touch is a solid 3.5 to 4 starts. The default applications are fine, but when you add in terminal, wallpaper, themes, games, to-do lists, VNC and several other handy tools it is a rockin' unit.

I purchased this device primarily to use on a recent trip to Mexico. The resort we stayed had wireless internet so I was able to keep up with my mail. The screen really is a bit small but it is a worthwhile trade off to not have to carry a laptop. I also moved all my music and recorded books to the device and it holds everything. I like the controls a lot better than I did my old i-pod. If the I-phone ever becomes available with Verizon I am sure that my wife would upgrade. I recently purchased the 32g iTouch and absolutely love it! I can sync with my Outlook calendar and contacts, etc. and be able to check my email. Now all Apple needs to do is have more 3rd party software available, i.e., Word and Excel and I'm completely mobile! I love all the features...Video, music and photos. I can streamline everything with iTunes. Just wish it wasn't so pricey, but I got mine at a steal these days...$459 from AMAZON!Customer Review: ipod touch

The ipod touch is the best piece of equipment I have! It does everything the iphone dose, just without the high monthly bill the iphone has. Sure the new iphone is cheaper, but you have to sign a 2 yr. contract where its $90 a month, that's $2160! Where as the ipod is $400-$530 depending on where you buy it from and that's it! I suggest getting a phone from verizon then getting the ipod touch! Its like having a computer in my pocket!
