Customer Review: A great remedy for those who like the iPhone but don't want to be forced into AT&T.

I have wanted an iPhone since its inception. Only problem AT&T. Most of my family and friends are on Verizon and I don't feel I should have to switch carriers to have one.
Enter the iPod Touch 32 gb - with the exception of it being a phone with built in audio and edge network, the Ipod is smaller, has more storage space and does everything else the current 16 gb iPhone does.
Also, I like my cell phone much smaller.
My kids and I both love watching you tube, surfing the net with a real browser, watching videos, listening to music and all the touch features.
A bit pricey but highly recommended.

I am a techie challenged older woman and this is one of the niftiest gadgets ever. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a "getting started" manual, so I had to solicit help from some younger friends to get going. It takes some practice to figure out how things work but I'm having great fun as I plod along. Once you get the basics, it's pretty easy and intuitive. The email and internet feature is brilliant so you can stay in touch wherever there's WiFi. I also bought a Bose portable Sound Dock, so I can carry it down to the pool and hear my music with no effort at all. I'm all set!Customer Review: wonderful !!

i hated the little revolving wheel on prior versions.
finally a terrific screen - VIBRANT colors.
very easy to use. i like the revolving screen technology.
this was a gift for my hubby (top of the line timmy)
HE LOVES IT !!
my son even "smoozed" me, telling me that "i hadn't bought him anything lately..." ((i told him to go back to work))
we are new to itunes with this one but am very pleased so far !!
he loves the fact that he can check email or navigation on the go
if he doesn't have his laptop with him.

I was always wondering what all the hype was about these things. After buying my iTouch it didn't take me long to figure it out. I love the wifi. I read/respond to my email. Check traffic, keep watch of my stocks and check the weather reports. And last but not least, I loaded all my CDs on it. I bought the cable so that I can hook it up to my stereo. No more finding my CD that I want to listen to. Everything is in one convient spot.
The only downfall I would say is the price. But to me it is worth the price.

Another great product from Apple. I never thought that a music player could be so powerful. The ability to add apps with the 2.0 update is well worth it! Also, the browser using wifi is almost flawless. Great alternative if you don't have AT&T and can't get the iphone....... this is almost as cool. The only downside is that I have another device that must be with me at all times!!!! Oh well, but it will be nice when the iphone is available through more carriers than AT&T! Until then, I highly recommend this device.
