Customer Review: a perfect little carry around music player...
Summary: 5 Stars

If this is going to be your main mp3 player then you might be disappointed. If this is your supplemental mp3 player (like me) then it's pretty much perfect. I use this for short home/work projects. Vacuuming, doing dishes, cleaning the house, when I'm having an argument with my wife... just kidding. I don't EVER do dishes! The 1 GB is just the right size to hold just the right number of songs for simple projects. The buttons are small but easy to learn, it works with pretty much every iPod external system, and in your car if you have the right equipment and I love the sound.

There are a couple things that I do have slight problems with. I've had to format it 3 times since I got it. It does get crazy after a while and skips and acts a little erratic. Also, and this could be just me, I don't see an easy way to create a play list just for the iShuffle and then add every song in there to the player. It's a simple enough device and because of such Apple chose not to include a decent instructions manual. All in all this is a really good mp3 player and worth the very inexpensive price.

Customer Review: Apple's greatest iPod for the runner
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm not alone in saying that I like to have music playing while I'm on the treadmill or working out in the gym. And carrying my iPod has always been the best way to take my music with me. The 2nd generation shuffle remains the best iPod for the active iTunes listener. In this case, the iPod generation that follows is not a great improvement over the previous ones. Customers have complained that the controls will short out when sweat drips on it. Additionally, I find it MORE convienient to have a docking station rather than a USB port. Keep in mind that connecting via USB port would also make the unit much bigger.

As for ease of use, if you're an iTunes user, it's extremely easy. You can pick random songs or a specific playlist to fill your shuffle. With up to 2gb of space, it's more than enough to give you a variety of songs.

Just clip this puppy onto your sleeve and turn it on. This is the best workout iPod.

Customer Review: Does anyone remember that this was $59.00 from Apple?
Summary: 5 Stars

Okay, I love the iPod shuffle for what it is - compact, almost indestructible, and easy. And I believe that iTunes is the best music player on Mac or PC, and makes it exceptionally easy to manage your music and synch with iPods. But THIS WAS A $59.00 ITEM from Apple. As of this writing, Nov. 18, 2009, you can get them at the Apple Store refurbished, with a full one year warranty, for $39.00. This clown is selling them for $199.99 which is, let me see, almost FOUR TIMES THE ORIGINAL APPLE PRICE. If you are stupid enough to pay that much then PLEASE don't complain that they cost too much. If you don't like the charging dock that comes with it there are several options available on Amazon, starting at about three bucks.

I admit that this is not the best ONLY iPod, but it is certainly an excellent OTHER iPod. Unless you only want an iPod to work out with, in which case this IS the best iPod, and much better than any of its competition.

Customer Review: Serriously?
Summary: 5 Stars

Did any one serriously buy this for [...]? From the page it says they're selling the 1 gig Shuffle for 200, or am iI just insane? Isn't it only arround 75 bucks? For [...]you might as well just go buy a nano. Not to say that it isn't a great product. The shuffle is the exact opposite of all the bad reviews on my end. They all say that the shuffle is difficult to synk, konks out after a month or so,and that they're just a load of trouble. There's a chance that with any electronics you buy they could fail. Especially mp3s that aren't apples. In my experiences, all the non apple mp3 players i bought have turned out to be crap. Only the apples have survived. Ive had my shuffle for at least a year and I just got the new nano for my birthday this month. They both work great and I have been showing no sign of stopping ever since. So go ahead and flip the coin that is life. Buy the dalm ipod. P.S. COBY Freakin Sucks!!!!!!

Customer Review: Apple iPod Shuffle
Summary: 5 Stars

I am truly loving this little gadget! This is my first ipod/mp3 player and I must admit that at first I was hesitant to buy one because I ride the bus & sub to work so safety is a concern but it's a great way to zone out during the ride - I simply clip it on and go (it's nice to be able to wear it under my coat so it can't be snatched off of my person).

Right now I have 248 songs loaded and because I only listen to it while traveling the battery lasts about 10 days. I love the shuffle feature which adds an element of surprise to the listening experience. It's also wonderful that I can use my own pair of in-ear buds instead of having to use the Apple buds that came with the shuffle.

For someone like me who only uses the ipod sporadically, this is a most useful invention that has added a lot of pleasure to my daily commute!
