My Apple iPod Shuffle is great, so small yet so much music. I had not bought a MP3 player thinking they may be a contemporary "Betamax". So I waited, and waited, so long in fact that technology had left me behind. My mother was now far more techno-competent than I, and had my grandmother not passed away, she would have had a MP3 player before I.
With a figurative giant leap, my iPod has brought me into the present. A new iPod meant a new PC, faster, more memory, compatable operating system, et cetera, et cetera. I have now bought 3 iPods, one for each member of the family. I plan to upgrade in the future to a Nano but for now I an enjoying my "matchbook" that rocks.

This is perfect. I don't need lists or videos or anything, besides being of AARP age I can't see the tiny screens anyway!! It's easy to use, just load up your favorite music, insert earphones and turn it on. If you're not in the mood for that particular piece all you have to do is forward to the next file. You don't have to hold it in your hand or worry that it'll drop out of your pocket, just clip it on and you're set to go. I have it on right now as I type. The only thing I may invest in is another set of earphones, though these are really fine for my purpose.Customer Review: 5 years...and still going strong!

I am the first to admit that I get a bit cranky when I see Apple churning-out new products almost constantly, and out-dating their own stuff with fearless abandon (well, sometimes). But this little guy has been with me on all sorts of adventures (hiking, biking, camping, traveling the world..), and is working just as the day I got it!
It will still go for a week+ on one charge, has been dropped more times than I'd like to think, and is a reliable & well-made gadget in the new era of designed-to-be-obsolete electronics. No touch screen - no problem!

For anybody who doesn't think that they will listen to as much music as the ipod nano and other styles can contain, they are probably right. This is a very good, and rather affordable product for what usage it gets. although it has a click wheel for changing songs, and you can not select one single song to play because of the lack of screen, it is still a great item. If you are not a die-hard music lover, but still you like to listen to it, I reccomend this device. Very convenient for road trips and the such, and filling boring hours has never been so much fun!Customer Review: Better than the first shuffle

I bought the first shuffle when they first came out and was reluctant to buy a new one - even though it was cute and in great colors. But, my armband broke and I paid the money instead of buying a new armband. I love this thing. It's great for my workouts. The best thing is, I don't need to buy an armband accessory anymore. Funny thing, though, my headphones are now too long! No problem, though, since I can contain it within the clip. Also, because of the shorter length between the shuffle and headphones, the buds don't come as loose. I love my orange shuffle.
