I just got my iPod Shuffle about a week ago, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the purchase. I have a 30g iPod video that I never took running with me - it's just too expensive to risk breaking or losing and I hate wearing the armbands. When Apple dropped the price it was the first time I seriously thought about getting a Shuffle for exercising, and I'm so glad I did.
2 GB is a wonderful size, I only have 60 songs on my running playlist right now, picking and choosing from my 3500 song library. I know I can add more than 400 more songs, but honestly I'm not sure I ever will! The size of the Shuffle itself is great, I clip it onto my jacket or shirt and completely forget it's there, it is so light.
I got my Shuffle in green and I love the color, it is beautiful and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.
The sound is my only issue, it is great in almost every aspect but the bass could definitely be pumped up. If anyone knows a way to turn up the bass on a Shuffle, could you leave it in the comments?
Overall I love this MP3 player as a compliment to my iPod video, and the perfect running accessory!

This iPod Shuffle is my second iPod so there were no surprises in the box.
With my massive 160GB iPod Classic I bring all my music with me everywhere I go. I listen to it all day everyday at work. Yesterday I was grooving to Reggae while snowblowing the driveway. Sometimes the iPod Classic is too big and kind of in the way. The iPod Shuffle is the perfect answer to this "little" problem. Though limited by the 1GB size, I can fill it and empty and refill it at will. I find the small size ideal for the Gym. Low profile and light weight design makes it ideal to clip to my tshirt for lifting or cardio. Never in the way but always present - this thing rocks (and reggae's too).
I picked the green color and was happy to find the color depicted on Amazon.com to be right on the money. Speaking of money, I found this Shuffle cheaper here online than advertised at my local bigbox exectronics stores. For those of you who seek instant gratification; My Shuffle showed up at my house so quickly, it's hardly worth the trip to the mall. 2 days.

I bought the 1 GB iPod Shuffle to listen to podcasts or music while I'm working around house and garden. I like to listen to music or talk radio while I'm working, but because I'm always on the go, I don't like to carry a radio with me. I often lose reception; the radio is heavy or in the way; the batteries die too soon; and the sound quality of small portable radios is lousy.
With the Shuffle being about the size of a postage stamp, having a clip, and weighing next to nothing, I can attach it to my shirt or belt and keep working while I listen to my favorite show or music and the sound quality is awesome. I can listen to hours worth of podcasts and/or music because not only will that tiny little thing hold so much entertainment, but the rechargeable battery will last up to 12 hours! A lot longer than I'll be working in the garden.

All I wanted was an iPod that I could listen to while taking a walk or riding the subway to and from work. I don't need a screen that shows me the song that's playing. I don't need video; I listen to music to enjoy listening to music! I certainly don't need more than this Shuffle's capacity. And I am not looking to impress anyone with something super-expensive and eye-catching. For me, smaller is better, and they don't come much smaller than this. So...the tiny iPod Shuffle is perfect for me. It easy to use, has good sound, and the controls are so minimal and manageable that I don't have to take it out of my pocket to use them. Of course, not everyone feels that no-frills is the way to go. But if you do like it simple, prefer Apple products, and either don't want to or can't spend a lot of money, I believe you'll be happy with the Shuffle.Customer Review: A gift that can be appreciated by people of all ages

This is a well designed product:
- small size
- light weight
- durable
- nice earphones
- easily clipable to clothing
- buttons simple enough for the less tech savy
- holds plenty of songs (though even 200 starts to feel a little small)
- MOST IMPORTANTLY: this is a gift that is appreciated by people of all ages! Once you load the right music, this is a perfect music player gift.
Issues:
- no way to swap between playlists. If you listen to different types of music you have to forward to get to the songs you're in the mood for.
- for those who don't always have access to computers or travel a lot, I recommend you buy a USB wall charger (I bought the Coby CA-80: a bit large but it does the job)
