(I use a hand-me-down 1st generation nano from my son, who moved up to an iTouch. Its plenty for me.) Including Christmas, I've purchased two ipod Nanos (8GB), one for a 58 yr old woman, one for a 26 yr old guy. They're both ecstatic! Woman uses it to get Christian outreach podcasts to listen to when on travel or downtime. Male uses his at gym and on road and is manically building his library of classic and new rock. Woman needs occasional help navigating (just like I did in the beginning). 26yr old took right to it. Great product at a great Amazon price!Customer Review: Simply Amazing...

I've had this I-Pod for about 6 months now and I could not be any more pleased...I've heard some people complaining about the slightest motion changing songs and the only thing I can say is that that has never happened to me before. The keypad sometimes sticks but it's only temporary and nothing to worry about. I know that with my 2nd generation I-Pod classic with video the battery wouldn't last and the I-Pod would restart automatically, leaving me with an almost dead I-Pod...well, this has not happened with this one once so I'm very satisfied!Customer Review: Love It

This was included in my tuition. It is mandatory for downloading podcast. Of course, I synced my favorite music as well. It has great sound, downloads extremely fast. The earbuds are comfortable and actually fit my ears...this is usually a problem for me. This my first iPod and it is easy to download and operate. I am very pleased. One thing for sure, I would never buy another portable CD player. The quality of sound is superior to any CD player I've owned....that includes a relatively expensive Sony I purchased.Customer Review: Love it! and Amazon was great about a replacement

I love this little I Pod. I used it with my new surround sound system and it went dead when I removed it. In a panic I contacted Amazon and they had a new one sent overnight.Meanwhile with some internet search ,I found a fix (re boot).So did not send the problem unit back to Amazon.I decided to allow them to charge me for the new one and I gave that away as a gift to an unfortunate PODLESS person. Purchased as a gift for my best friend. The look on their face made it very worthwhile. Now, the thing is...I'm a little jealous of them having the nicer, newer model! Aesthetically, and memory-wise, it out-shines my ipod (a 3rd gen nano). I also purchased this gift for less than I paid for my own...a year ago! If you want an MP3 player, look nowhere else than apple ipods, whatever the generation! I still won't be trading mine in anytime soon.
