Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black (4th Generation) [Previous Model]

Customer Review: Zune is better
Summary: 5 Stars

The zune is better. Unfortunately, because the Ipod is so famous, the zune will need to do another leapfrog before it gets noticed. Simply put, the zune is capable of doing everything the Nano can do, but better. The Zune is networked. The Zune is compatible with Rhasody's TO Go feature, which makes Zune capable of playing any song you want. Plus Zune has Wi-Fi built in. The Zune is superior.

That said, the Ipod has some distinct features that make it still a good player. The Ipod has the accelerometer, and cover flow. Zune doesn't have that. So if those features are important to you, stick with the ipod.

Customer Review: iPod nano 4th generation (old version)
Summary: 5 Stars

Both my husband and daughter own this model, and are extremely happy with it. I finally broke down and bought one for myself. I could have bought the iPod nano 5th generation, but didn't need the extra features it offers and didn't want to pay more. Right after I ordered mine, the price went up. It now costs significantly more than what I paid, and is more expensive than the iPod nano 5th generation. If I were to purchase an iPod nano today, I would order the 5th generation, as it is cheaper than the 4th generation. I hope this review helps anyone who is comparison shopping.

Customer Review: Super, My favorite of them all!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got the new 4th gen nano for Christmas, and so far it works great. Plays and charges on my Sony Stereo System, and fits into my Aux cable in my car. The features are great, but a little cheesy on the shake to switch the song part. I love the new weight also, its so light you dont even know your holding it. And with the compatibility to play videos is another great feature, they come on crystal clear. The only thing I find annoying is that I have to "eject" the ipod before disconnecting, im not sure if that screws up the Ipod if you just disconnect it. But otherwise this is a great product.

Customer Review: Wow!
Summary: 5 Stars

Unbelieveable! I've always been a Creative Labs or Zune promoter but, I noticed my Creative Labs MP3 players tended to take a dive every year. That totally sucked! Then the Zune, it was okay but, support is near non-exisitent. Plus the Zune 30 G hard-drive couldn't take the daily hiking in the hills around Fallon, Nevada. So, what did I have to lose, (I guess) I bought the IPOD Nano 8G and have been blown away since. Versitile little machine as well. Support is everywhere. The sound and graphics displays are just incredible. I'd recommend this for most but, I need to advance up to the 16G.

Customer Review: Great New Nano from Apple
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had the new nano for a week and i have to say, this thing is amazing. This is my 1st ipod, so i have had no problem with the compatability issues. listening to mostly rock and a little blues, the audio quality is great. the games are fun, but use up battery life a little fast. itunes is a little of a setback, seeing as i have most of my music on an external hard drive and as far as i can see, itunes only takes cds. If anyone knows how to make itunes read a external drive, please comment. i recommend this to anyone looking for a great, affordable ipod.
