Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black (4th Generation) This is my first player. I love electronic stuff! I'm not that into music these days, but am enjoying the audio books. Also love having all of the digital pictures of grandchildren so handy. I downloaded my favorite movie. How fun is that! It works well. The only thing I do not like is the Itunes store. It isn't as easy to find things as Amazon.com is. I'll probably get used to it eventually. I've had this little gadget for a couple of weeks and it's fun. I investigated different types of players (at stores and online). Once I decided on the iPod, I found that Amazon had the best price.Customer Review: Great, teensy!

I don't know much about Ipods, I bought this as a gift. The recipient is very happy with it. The thing is so teensy & lightweight. From what I've seen, you can access the music in a variety of different ways, by genre, band, song name, album, etc. You can also play video.
I was concerned that the "shake" feature to switch songs might be irritating if it were too sensitive so that when you were walking or jogging, etc. the song would just constantly switch. But that doesn't seem to be a problem.
On the down side, 8GB doesn't seem to be quite as much storage as he had hoped. And it doesn't seem to be able to hook up to your computer without completely re-syncing your Ipod playlist.

Received this ipod for my birthday. SO far this has been great for working out. The shake to shuffle feature is very annoying and will drive you nuts when lifting/running luckily the feature is very easy to shut off in the settings menu. Besides that, it is very small and light(make sure to get a case). The battery life has been great for me but I only use it for music/podcasts. Itunes was not as user friendly as I expected but luckily I am a little tech savvy and used the help menu. Also, the genius feature was not very useful for me. Lastly, though the headphones were adequate playing back the music, they are very loose in my adult sized ears. All in all this is a great purchase for my needs.Customer Review: Awesome Deal

This is my first ever Mp3 player . I went with Apple because of the brand. This particular model because back is my color and sleek looks stylish.
Now the reason I got it through Amazon is for this is the cheapest you can get the model. Purchased it a month back for approx 135$ ( Apple store cost $150)
I am not much of a 3rd party buyer, but since Amazon was the seller I did not have much doubts
Neat packaging and model arrived in perfect shape
Caution :I am yet to explore all its features . Know that a lot of people had trouble with shuffle , I just turned it off
So enjoy your music..and keep rocking!!

Ok, everyone knows that ipods are the best thing since sliced bread, so I do not need to give my feedback on the product...but here is my story.
I bought this for my Dad'd 70th bday and had it shipped to him. When the box arrived at his doorstep...it was empty! Now who knows how it happened?? Could have been carelessly left out at shipping, could have been stolen along the way?? Regardless, my Dad called Amazon and was put on phone w/ real person and without question, by the next day he had a ipod in his hands. he was ssooo impressed with the service he did not care about the mishap.
