This is an awesome portable music player. Being blind, I've never been able to use an iPod before as the previous models were totally inaccessible. My friends are all huge iPod buffs though. With the spoken menus feature introduced in this model, I can now navigate all my music and podcasts. Now, I carry my iPod almost everywhere. This product is very easy to use once you get the hang of moving your finger over the wheel. Glad to see the lock switch is present in this model, it is a life saver. I wish some of the other features such as the games and alarms were accessible, but maybe that will come in the fifth generation. Compared to other accessible portable music players, the battery life on the Nano is incredible. The vast amount of content available on iTunes is equally amazing. Cheers to Apple for making an outstanding accessible player!Customer Review: A whole new world of technology

I've owned several other MP3 players but NONE LIKE THIS! Wow. All I can say is WOW. I had some difficulty figuring out how to change the volume and use the menu (If I had read the simple little pamphlet it would have helped...I finally did read it and solved my problems..) I thought this MP3 player would be similar to the others I had owned, but NOT.
This MP3/video player is phenomenal. I love it and will never want to own anything but this. Plays great video, quality of video is great, sound is great, apps and other options just make this a phenomenal player. Well worth the price. I got mine with a discount through Audible.com (great service!) so I got this baby so cheap I can't believe how little I paid for it. Fantastic deal, fantastic product! Cool features! (shake it to skip to another song!)

I love it , it works perfectly. I use it in when I am driving so I recomend that if your old one used to charge on the car, this one may not, but for $30.00 extra Scoche has a product that will fix your problem.Its hardly an inconvienence though I have seen others making it a big deal.I use it on an armband in the gym so if its sideways, if you shake it it adjusts. It has other very useful features that the second gen nano I had before did not. I was considering the touch for the internet capabilities, however I have a laptop and 2 cell phones so I personally believe I have enough internet access, and it is very small, so why complicate things with a bigger product. Amazon always sends things early and has very high quality control and follow up so thats's why they will always have my businessCustomer Review: Thank You Apple

I had originally posted a less than glowing review for the new Ipod Nano based simply on what we can describe now as the old "cover-flow problem". Well, now I know that when I bought my new Ipod, I wasn't simply getting a good product, but a company that listens to it's customers. I didn't like one of the software design aspects to the product (a lot of people didn't), so Apple listened, and now I feel better about being an Ipod owner. Now everyone can head into the holiday season not having to worry that their Ipod will function differently than how it used to. Additionally, if you like the new interface, you can keep it, Apple just gave people the option to choose. Great move Apple, and as I said, I've removed my less favorable review and replaced it with this, because Apple listened.Customer Review: Good stuff, so far.

I like this ipod. It's little small (it seemed at first), but it's size has "grown on me", and now, I'm glad it's so small. It's very portable, and it sounds great! Good features and easy to use, as well as a now to bad battery life.
For a long, long while, I held off on getting an ipod, because for some reason, it just never seemed that the sound quality would be very good, and so I waited. But, as sometimes happens, I was proven very wrong when I listened to a friends ipod, and that was it! From that point, I just had to have one. Now I do, and so far, it's really great! I got an 8gig nano, and have pretty much all my fav. music on it, which is about 90+ cd's! Holy crap! All that music in one place, and all at the push of a button. I'm hooked.
