About three years ago, I bought a 30 gig iPod classic with my own money and absolutely loved it. About this time last year, however, I decided that it was time to upgrade. I agonized over what to get. I knew I wanted less memory, since I didn't even use half of the space on my old one, but should I stay with Apple, or try a different, cheaper brand? Since I was asking for it for Christmas and wouldn't be paying for it, I decided to go for the iPod. I love this one so much that I gladly would have payed for it myself and felt that it was worth every penny. The transition on my computer from one iPod to another was surprisingly easy; it took less than half an hour for me to completely set it up. I love all of the little iPod details that I've become accustomed to, like the click wheel. I like the new features too, like shake to shuffle and cover flow (which turned out to be much less annoying than I had feared). There are a few cons, such as when I occasionally drop it or move too fast and it shuffles to another song, or when I turn it to the side and it goes into cover flow, or when it occasionally freezes and won't reset. But overall, it was a very good upgrade from my old one and I would definitely recommend it.Customer Review: ipod nano rocks!

I got this ipod nano today for christmas. I enjoy this ipod very much. It has great color, screen is hard to scratch, and fit very well into my pocket. I was reading some one star reviews before I got this. Some people say that from the slightest movement it will shuffle to a random song. They are wrong. Two things are that, if you do not want it to do that, you can go to the settings and turn it off. Second, you can put it on hold and it wont shuffle. Another thing I disagree with is some people are disappointed that the new nano wont go on the old charger. The ipod comes with a whole new charger and a plastic little dock. Why use old accessories when you can use a the brand new one it comes with. I think the new nano 4g deserves five starsCustomer Review: It was everything I expected it to be... and more.

I've needed to update my technology for a while now... I was still lugging around my cd's and my (old faithful) boom box.
My 16g ipod has completely changed the way I teach dance class. All of my music is wonderfully organized and literally @ my finger tips, it's so user friendly and it's purple my favorite color! I also purchased a very sleek Memorex audio system (Mi2013-BLK) which works very well, has great sound and charges my ipod on deck as well as many other convenient features. Although, it took me a while to finally get updated and streamlined I'm so very happy that I did. YEAH !!!

I love my new iPod Nano. I find this toy a great way to enjoy listening to my favorite tunes everyday. The only complaint I really have about this product is that it doesn't seem to stay charged for a very long time. Also, I wish it was sold with a better quality headset. I like to download some of my favorites at itunes.com or download some of my cds onto the device. Overall, this is a great product at a great price. Thanks Amazon for discounting the price on this item and this is the reason why I chose to buy it from your company. I saved a total of $25 by buying it from Amazon. Nice product with significant improvements over its older version, which I also own. Enjoy it immensely. Only wish Apple would consider improving the earbuds. It wouldn't hurt either if there was a way to replace the batteries once they wear out, which is what happened with my first Nano. Apple should really start considering this because eventually the batteries do wear out. I really like this Nano and now I have an older one also that doesn't hold a charge very long anymore. So I'm disappointed in the thought that in a few years the same will happen with this one. Otherwise - Great product, and very satisfied with my purchase and handling by Amazon of the sale.
