I am teaching my sixth grade students how to make a podcast in math class. They are going to create their own fraction problem of the day podcast. I am excited to share this emerging technology with them and they are excited to bring their MP3 players to school - to use in an academic manner.
When I went shopping for an MP3 player I was told that iPod was the only one that would download podcasts.
These podcasts are a part of my doctorate program at ASU.

I traded my Sansa e260 mp3 player in for a new 80 GB Ipod Class 6G and let me just say, I love my ipod! From the moment I got it, I knew it would be perfect. The screen is bright and crisp, the music is clear, and the text is easy to read. The touch scroll works nice, although not as sensitive as I would like it to be. The music was a little difficult to put on my ipod, but just because I was confused. I can imagine a first-timer would have a very hard time putting any audio on their ipod. But overall, this is a great product and well worth the money!Customer Review: Excellent

I bought this for my wife this year for Christmas. I own a 30G Video Ipod, and after getting this one set up and registered for use for my wife, I'm very impressed. It's basically an Ipod Video with an 80G drive and a more streamlined and attractive style. I love the cover flow, and the clickwheel is less sensitive and more easy to use. Also, the finish on the front of the Ipod will be much harder to scratch than mine. I think it is a very good machine from what I've seen so far. I bought this iPod, as an upgrade to previous unit I had. I like the color screen very much and also like that I can watch videos in addition to listening music to on it. The feature is great when traveling by airplane, as it very compact which makes it easy to put in a carry-on bag. It is just a shame that Apple decided to stop shipping the iPod with AC chargers. My last iPod came with one and it was great when traveling, as I do not always take my laptop with me. This means I do not always have my laptop to charge my iPod with.Customer Review: Can't believe I lived without my Ipod

I am so pleased with this product. It is so easy to use. Battery last a long time between charges. I am glad I bought the 80GB Ipod Classic vs the Ipod Nano, I have surpassed 10GB already with music, movies and TV. Great for traveling, helps pass the time in the airport without lugging bulky dvd players. Love It, LoveIt, Love It.
