The iPod Classic has had TOO MANY one star reviews by people who don't even own the iPod or had shipping problems. DON'T listen to those! The click wheel is a little less sensitive than the previous 5th gen iPod video, but is still very usable (the only problem is that iPod cases with click wheel covers won't work). But it is still an amazing product. The cover flow works good and the only doubles I have are albums with more than one artist (which does bug me a little.) I love the split screen effect and all the new interface. If you want a nice MP3 player that's easy to use and has all the bells and whisels, plus can hold your entire music collection and still have over half of the space left... you will like the new iPod Classic! I will update if I have anymore problems.Customer Review: An awesome device!

I am a believer! I bought my Ipod some time ago and never did take the time to find a user group or read the manual. Only problem I ever had was making too many decisions too fast and freezing up the software. That and the occasional sync freeze are the only problems I have encountered to date - and I use this thing 4-5 hours minimum a day.
I have 13k songs, several podcasts, and a couple of "Learning Courses" on my Ipod. The ability to sync and take my podcasts with me on the road or workout is a great time-saver. I bought a dedicated set of speakers for work and can now listen to my eclectic tastes in music without having to log into the internet. Absolutely awesome. I highly recommend!!

purchased this ipod for my grandchildren, ages 12 and 16, for Christmas and they and I can not be happier. They work just like they should (after a little trouble with the black one being recognized by i-tunes)
and protected by hard cases they should last for quite a while. Since they are a hard drive as opposed to flash drive they must be treated a little differently than the shuffles and nanos that they been using, but I anticipate no problems... Would make this purchase again, especially from Amazon since their return policy is so good.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband for his birthday. Overall, it's easy to load music and movies onto and has a ton of space. Considering his original iPod was a Nano Shuffle, this is a considerable upgrade.
I like the brushed silver finish and the size is a little bigger (though a little thinner) than a cell phone. It's not super small, so if you're using it to exercise, you may want to consider an arm band. At first, my husband thought it was too big to use when he worked out (he's used to the Nano, remember), but now that he's discovered he can load movies onto it, there's a new found love!
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the product and my purchase!

I purchased this for my granddaughter, in the past she had owned two MP3 players which she was not happy with, they did not hold up to the task that she wanted to get from them. She has had this iPod for a month, it was a birthday gift (16th) she is more than pleased with this iPod. Daily she uses this. She has 3 movies, over 700 songs on the iPod there is plenty of space for many more months of recording listening, viewing, and enjoying. She is very happy that it does all.. that she wanted.
