Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple iPod classic 80 GB Silver (6th Generation) OLD MODEL

Customer Review: Wow!
Summary: 5 Stars

Firmware update is in place, my OS was reinstalled, and still this ipod is crashing my computer, itunes, or simply sitting there indicating that it is syncing, and yet nothing happens and it never stops. It is beautiful in design, and I am not having the issues other pepople are having with crashes on the iPod itself, lagging, but the click wheel is certainly not sensative enough for my taste.

I was thrilled to have this, now, I am leery. I had originaly purchased the Nano 8gb w/ video, and it too had trouble. Thouroughly disappointed, and I loved my previous Nano 2g 8gb.

-Sigh-

update: 8-2010
I have found myself looking for these 3rd generation nanos. They are unique and the software updates have made them stable. I have replaced my star rating with a higher rating. I bought a nice used one with a pretty face, minimal back scratching for $50 on craigslist.

Customer Review: The Best Electronic device ever!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I held out on getting an iPod for the last 3 years, telling myself and my friends that "I don't need it my old trust 1 GB SD card expansion slot mp3 player was good enough!" Well I will say now that I was wrong! The iPod Classic is one of the best electronic devices of this decade. I call it a electronic device b/c it bundles a high quality mp3 player,a photo viewer, video viewer, great screen for all your viewing, a great organized software interface to access everything, sleek, thin casing that fits in my back pocket unnoticeable, and last but not least an 80-160 GB Hard drive to hold all of my growing music (now 10 GB) and video, photo, and audiobook library (20 GB). Not to mention the ability to play some somewhat fun games and store all your important documents on a drive biggest a laptop. When you purchase an iPod you're not just getting an music device you are getting a new friend in the digital world.

Customer Review: New to iPod. I'm in love!

Apple 80 GB iPod classic Silver (6th Generation)

The reviews I have read seem to bemoan this model in comparison to another much-loved iPod. This is my first iPod, so I don't really care how this compares to other models. In short, I am in love. While it took me a good half a day to figure out the click wheel thing, but now the light bulb has clicked and it's a breeze to use.

I love how easy it is to sync with iTunes. I've been a big user for years, but always tethered to my computer. I'm excited to take my items on the road. I have plenty of room left, so I think I would have to add much more of my music.

This is a top-notch product for bringing together your digital media files and having fun on the go. Thanks Mom for the awesome birthday present!

Customer Review: What is the problem?
Summary: 5 Stars

Hello all,

First I would like to say that I have the 80GB Classic iPod and I just LOVE IT! The cover flow is a great feature and I cannot find something I don't like!

Ok, I have read several reviews (specially the first one) and I completely disagree. I have to say, PLEASE STOP WHINING! Do not give bad reviews for extremely tiny things like this! You are misleading other customers to other products when they can get this one! Yeah, I saw the video about the "Cover Flow Annoyance", and yes, the cover flow takes about 0.0000065461 seconds to load the arts, SO WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!? I guess you can live with that! Is not like it affects the iPod's whole performance!

So, if you really like the iPod, and you trust in Apple, BUY THIS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

A very satisfied customer with his 80GB iPod Classic.

Customer Review: Couldn't be Happier~Great ipod

I got my first ipod when the 3rd gen Nano came out and proceeded to fill it up right away. Now what?

This 80GB was the perfect answer. I do not know how people can say 1-3 ratings. Mine is wonderful. I have 4,500 songs on it every CD I own. now I am converting my Records to CD and putting them on it too, I have 200++ albums and it will still not come close to filling this baby.

I got the square ipod home Amazon had as a deal of the day. It sounds fantastic...just like Bose. I crank that baby up and hear it all thru the house. I love that I can have all my CD's in one tiny place and take it with me.

I highly recommed this ipod. It is bult sturdy too.

My only sligt complaint is that many of my albums do not have artwork available in the itune store. I guess my type music is the most popluar. Christian Contempory.
