Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple Wireless Keyboard Kit MB167LL/ACustomer Review: The Desktop Slob's New Best Friend! Summary: 5 Stars
OK, I admit it... I forgot what the wood finish on my desk looked like as it had not seen daylight in months! Despite having a good sized desk at home, I still manage to put more junk on it than I should. So when I got this keyboard, I was at first scared that I would lose it under papers. It is so small! I have kinda thick hands, so I was worried that it would be painful to use this keyboard. NOPE! I am amazed how natural this keyboard feels. The buttons give good resistance when punched. And did I mention it was small? I went from a ergonomic keyboard to the wired Apple aluminum keyboard when they first came out. That cleared up a lot of room. And this has given even more room (to place more unneeded junk)! Seriously, my mouse pad is bigger than the keyboard. You'll be amazed at the simple beauty of it. I'm very happy with it and think you will be too!
Customer Review: Elegant Improvements Summary: 5 Stars
When most people's NINE YEAR OLD computers have been replaced three times over, I am giving my Mac Cube a slight face lift (internal and external). This simple and elegant wireless keyboard gives her all the subtle respect she needs. When matched with a D-Link wireless Bluetooth USB adaptor, and a Logitech white and silver mouse, setup was flawless making the desktop simple and noteworthy. She never knew these things didn't exist at birth. Even my own son thinks "That's Cool!" Nothing could be finer. There is enough feedback upon touching the key that you know the typed letter has been cast without wondering if any other keys have been inadvertently stricken. Nicely compact that you don't have to play a full Steinway and Sons with Duke Ellington hands in order to make literary music. "Slick" can truly mean both functional and awesome.
Customer Review: Beautiful and improved my typing accuracy Summary: 5 Stars
I can't believe how great this keyboard is. When I saw my husband's, which he had purchased along with his new iMac, I had an oddly visceral reaction to it and raved about the design for several minutes. I've had my own for about a month now. It's slim, it's beautiful, it's easy to clean -- and the low profile of its keys has increased my typing accuracy. (I was using one of the older clear/white Apple keyboards, which now feels hopelessly clumsy.) I am a usability specialist by trade and I can't see what one of the other reviewers is complaining about -- I have experienced absolutely no usability problems with this keyboard.
I keep thinking how odd it is that I had such a strong reaction to a keyboard. I lusted after it even more than I did an iPhone. But I'm happy to say that it's every bit as nice as I thought it would be.
Customer Review: Small, efficient, easy, enjoyable to use Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this with the Interlink Bluetooth rechargeable mouse (which, also see here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001126PDM/ref=cm_cr_thx_view ). Both work excellently and have given me back my desktop. When I need to write notes or memoranda, (Yes, I know, handwriting is sooooo 19th (20th???) century.) I can clear away the keyboard and mouse and do not need to worry about knocking over a water glass or soda can.
It requires that you get beyond the backspace button but, giving up my clunky, junky, hunky, plastic Microsoft mess keyboard is such a relief. It was simply gobbling up my desktop space.
This is a delight use, so soft and light. Bravo to Jobs and Ives and the whole Apple design group. Excellent design, fast, efficient - everything you seek in a business instrument.
Customer Review: Wonderful! I Love This Keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
I am not an Apple person, but I needed a wireless keyboard that works (with my PC). This is the one. If you have a blue tooth adapter - this keyboard does not come with one as I found out, this keyboard works very well and at a good distance. My last wireless keyboard gave me fits when it would miss letters, but that doesn't happen any more. The aluminum design is very thin and light and the keys feel nice and springy but are quite different from a conventional keyboard. Once you have your blue tooth adapter set up, this keyboard will be easy to install. I also have figured out how to remap the keys to inactivate the horrible cap lock key. If you are looking for a wireless keyboard to eliminate wires for a home theater or just to get rid of the tether, I would definitely buy this thing.
