I bought this so that I can charge my iTouch (8gb) and it does exactly what the description said. The extra USB cord was a bonus because I wasn't expecting that to be with the plug. I haven't had any problems with either items. Coincidentally, I ended up purchasing an iPhone shortly after, and guess what? It was the EXACT same plug that came with the iPhone, so I'm a little confused by some of the reviews. I would definitely recommend this to friends.Customer Review: Works like a charm.

At first I was apprehensive about buying this, due to the number of negative reviews. I read through them and decided that since this product was supposed to be OEM, and was relatively cheap, that I'd risk it. I'm definitely glad that I did. The charger and USB cable both work perfectly, no weird noises, no smoke or burnt out iPod... just a good deal on a charger. I ordered this item through Starlight Mobile. I received what appears to be an authentic Apple power adapter complete with the green dot. I also received what appears to be an authentic apple usb sync cable. Items work great. I was able to charge and sync my iPhone 3GS, and had no problems using the cable with my OtterBox Defender Case. Placing a second order for a spare. The sync cable alone is twice this price if bought retail.Customer Review: Suprise!

The item surprisingly came with the Data Transfer Sync cable. So I can plug it into my computer as well as the wall. At first I wasn't sure it was going to work because the iPhone didn't make any noise or show a battery charge symbol on the screen. It took a while to charge up initially, but it got there. Check the Apple website, and you'll see that part #MB352LL/B is supposed to come with the USB cable in addition to the power adapter. If the price from another supplier is suspiciously low (say, under ten dollars), you're most likely getting only the power adapter. BUY DIRECTLY FROM AMAZON - I received the genuine Apple part: new post-recall power adapter (with green dot), and USB cable. Works perfectly.
