Well there's not much you can really say about an Apple USB adaptor. The product works great and does exactly what it is meant to. It adapts the USB to plug into your wall sockets. The real secret to this product is that any item you have that can charge via USB works in this thing. I charged another MP3 player I have in there, I charge my cell phone in there when I need to and I even have a USB LED light that I can use straight from the wall by using this adaptor. It's not what it was meant to be used for but its very useful and functional in ways you may not have thought of!Customer Review: Works like a charm iphone2

I purchased this item from Amazon. My purchase price was almost ten dollars, still cheaper than Apple. Mine works perfectly on my Apple iphone2. Appears well constructed. I don't know what is going on with the other peoples purchase. I think the seller did a switch at some point.
If I had seen the above reviews, I would have run to the hills. I know that Apple is way overpriced for their products. I have seen good quality Belkin power adapter with foldable plugs at big box stores for a reasonable price. Hope this helps.

I received this product very fast in the mail, and it was packaged well (bubble wrap or air cushions, I can't remember). I unboxed it, no fancy box or anything, but I really don't care about that. I plugged it in and it worked. I have been using it nightly to charge my iPod Touch 2g 16 gigabyte and I haven't encountered any problems, this product simply does what it says it will at a very good price. A great purchase for charging an iPod, iPhone, or (I suppose) another USB powered device.Customer Review: Great price - and it's the 'real deal'

For the price, this is a steal. for less than the cost of either the adaptor or the USB cable you get both. Both appear to the be the real deal, and yes, the adaptor is green-dot. If this is a knock-off, it's not at all apparent to me. Works perfectly. Having a spare power adaptor/cord for the office, travel, or laptop bag is very handy and at this price, affordable, too.
Absolutely no regrets and have recommended this product/vendor to several friends since.

Some people are confusing this item with some third-party vendor products. This is the genuine Apple iPhone charger with included cable. Has the green dot on it to indicate it is the newer product.
Works great. And it is cheaper by a few dollars than you can get at Apple. Anything much below $25/$26 for this, especially $5 or so is a giveaway.
Check the model number on the Amazon web page. It's the genuine Apple model number.
