The product purchased is like the original-no problems as of yet (using it daily for approximately 30 days).
I had recently lost the USB Adapter and cable; therefore, I had bought this as a replacement. At first I was reluctant to buy one due to the many reviews stating the cheap imitations online. I purchased this product directly through Amazon and received an original USB adapter. I was surprised to discover a NEW CABLE comes with the adapter additionally. I must have not read the product description correctly because I thought I was only purchasing the USB adapter.
If you are having doubts, just buy the product directly from Amazon and not through the other retailers offferred through Amazon. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this from Safari Cellular. I am pretty sure it is a fake made by someone who knows how to spell AND can make a device that works perfectly every time. This one is fast. At least it is fast compared to my computer's USB. My sister and I both have iPods and we both use the same computer for iTunes, so we have my cable on the charger and use her's to sync the devices. That works really well.
The dedicated charger works really well because it charges when you plug it in. Maybe i did it wrong, but there were a few things you had to do to get the Nano to charge on the computer, with this, everything just works.
I am very pleased. "JK recommends!"

I lost my original iPhone adapter and USB cord, and rather than spending $60 to replace with Apple products, I decided to spend $10 on this fake adapter and cord Data cable for iPhone / iPod. They arrived on time, but I was very hesitant to use them due to some of the scary reviews (fires, iPhones breaking, etc.) Fortunately, these worked perfectly with my iPhone 3GS. I don't believe the product description is misleading - it was clear to me that these were not genuine Apple products. How could they be for 1/6 of the price?Customer Review: Small Energiser

Imagine carrying a USB converter almost the size of your hand, imagine trying to pack that in a luggage where its almost full! But now, better than ever, a small USB converter can give you a head ache free by storing it more easily and carrying it more efficiently because of weight and size. The color is white so even the florescent light can help find this piece of equipment in the dark.
The only pain that will occur is that if there is a power cut or if the owner is traveling to a country which does not use the same plug as the adapter. This may allow you to miss your music for awhile.

I bought this to replace the adapter I had broken (I have the Apple iPhone 3G), and I decided to pay a little more for the authentic Apple product instead of the knockoffs for $0.99 that are not guaranteed to work. The description said that the item was "used" but in good condition, so I was completely prepared for this. The charger and cord came looking brand spanking new, no signs of use, and is the real deal. Worked the first time I plugged it in and has worked ever since. I have had it for a month. I would highly recommend going this route if you are looking to replace your iPhone charger.
