The USB Power Adapter is an excellent purchase if you need to run your iPod for long periods of time. I run mine in my office all day through a set of speakers, so the battery would often wear out before my work day was done. This came brand new and works perfect. I read reviews on the new versions of the adaptor and how people didn't like that the prongs don't snap back in so even though this older one is slightly bigger, I think it's better because it does have prongs that snap back in.Customer Review: Very Useful Product

Just bought this for my daughter's new Ipod. Works great. Don't have to worry about being near a USB port; just plug it in. Easier for us to remember to charge the Ipod. More flexibility than having a cable hanging off the laptop all of the time.
