This device does what it's meant to do - charge your Ipod quickly and effectively. I know there are other chargers out there that are less expensive, I simply wanted to buy the Apple brand to ensure I had no compatability issues and that if I did, I would have a reliable source to pursue a solution. I purchased this brand because I like to get the recommended brand when I can. Somehow, I don't trust the quality of cheaper solutions in this case. My iPod 80gig cost me $350.00, so no way I was NOT going to buy Apple charger.
Works well, and guess what? I'm going to use it for ALL my iPods, so it will be doing triple duty!

This was a super product especially for the price. Now my girls don't have to charge each ipod off the computer which takes forever. They can charge it anywhere they go also. This is the perfect charger for any Ipod. I have the Mini and it works great. So many times I don't feel like turning on my computer and now all I have to do is plug this in, no problems at all. This is a great concept. I was tired of having to turn on the computer just to charge the iPOD. This product allows user to plug the USB cord from the iPOD into it and plug the adapter into the wall outlet. It is especially nice for charging an iPOD while traveling- when a computer is not convenient.
