This is a direct replacement of my Apple keyboard. Everything is as fine as expected because I had another one a short time ago, tragically cut down in it's prime by a can of diet Mountain Dew, and only a small amount at that. I think too many keyboards are much too fancy these days (splits, illumination, etc.). This thing just works and it has a nice size to fit on a desk and not take its half out of the middle. Works well with my linux box as well except the number pad doesn't work (probably need to map the keys).Customer Review: Apple Keyboard

My original apple keyboard went out and I replaced it with another brand which wasn't as nice as the apple. After 2 weeks I really needed to go back to the apple keyboard so I purchased this one. The keys are more comfortable to use and it has volume control buttons on the keyboard.Customer Review: Awesome

I love this keyboard, the keels have a soft feel and the glass look of it is very unique. I spilled water on my old one and had to look hard to find this model since Mac made a different keyboard for their new line of PC's. WHAT A SHAME THAT YOU CAN'T FIND AN APPLE KEYBOARD ON THE APPLE WEBSITE!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING A WORKHORSE, HEAVY DUTY, OLD STYLE KEYBOARD WHICH I PREFER OVER THE SLIM, ALUMINUM, SILENT NEW ONES! KEEP 'EM IN STOCK. I MAY NEED MORE IN THE FUTURE!! : )
