Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Apple USB Keyboard - WhiteCustomer Review: sleek, does what it's suppose to Summary: 5 Stars
I've heard many people complain of extra keystrokes. So far I have not experience it at all. Possible it's a new revision or becuase I'm using OS X Tiger but I have no problems. Actually I have one small complaint. The keys are soft (no that's not it). Because they are soft(-er than regular keys) I have to sometimes type with a tiny more force to get it to respond. I'm sure people who pound at the keys won't have problems. That's a minor complaint and happens very few. Back to the goods, the look is awesome! The clear plastic is a nice touch, it looks simple, clean and saves some desk space. The 2 USB 1.1 ports are a big plus, especially for the mac mini I use. The mouse plugs into one so USB 2.0 on the mini won't be wasted. I DID use the other 1.1 for charging a device. It's perfect, besides the need to maybe add a bit of pressure on the keys. Definately 5 stars.
Customer Review: Well-made keyboard for a very reasonable price Summary: 5 Stars
I am using this keyboard with a Mac Mini and an IBM ThinkPad (Windows XP service pack 2) connected via a ConnectPro KVM switch. The keyboard performs exceptionally well with both computers. I have not noticed any problems with extra characters or performance lag as mentioned earlier in some of the other reviews. Perhaps there has been some improvement in the keyboards that are currently shipping.
Typing on the Apple keyboard definitely has a different feel than most PC keyboards, but I find that I prefer the touch and it is much quiter than the Microsoft Ergo Keyboard I had been using. I compared several keyboards at a brick and mortar store before making this purchase and for the price the build quality of this unit was far superior. In addition, its smaller footprint will be a welcome change for most purchasers.
Customer Review: Apple USB white full keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
High quality full keyboard with numeric pad. Pre AL & white keyboard which now comes with all new Apple iMacs an Mac Pro's. This keyboard does not combine other functions with the "Function" Keys (1 through 12). This may be important to you if you use these Function keys for Mac game software. If a software program or computer game requires that you use the F1 F2 F3 F4 F10 F11 and F12 keys for certain operations of your software and you only have the new alumium and white keyboards you maybe out of luck. ( or that how is with my software experience). Possible more current software for Mac will allow dual functionality of function keys. This issue was the reason I bought this keyboard.
Customer Review: Apple USB Keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
My first Apple keyboard came with my iMac four years ago. I spilled various liquids on it, cleaned it from time to time and eventually it started to effect the computer. I ordered a new one, meantime someone said to turn the key board over and "spank" it and it then began working correctly. A tip for the public. The new one came and I began to use it. The USB hookups are in the back instead of the sides, which I like for cord organiation and it is more trimline in design. I am not an authority on keyboards and it does everything I want it to do and I love the keypad. Miss it on the laptop.
Customer Review: A new Apple keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
I have had my computer, an Imac for three years. While conducting an important
project, I spilled a tiny bit of a soft drink on my old keyboard. Of course, it fried and died. I couldn't
do much with it. I shopped for a week looking for a new one. I decided to see what you have on Amazon.com. I found a new
Mac. keyboard on your website and bought it. Now my Apple has the feeling to it that had when
I first got it.
Did I mention the price was lower than the retail stores?
Thanks Amazon, you are always there, and always a help.
