The time machine was easy to install and secure. Very functionally replaced my d-link and was far easier to set up and secure. We were told D-link was compatible with Mac but it was a constant struggle to use and never stayed secure. The time machine easily set up for both our Mac and our PC's,secured and backed up effortlessly. It is a far more functional wireless networking device. Love it so far.
Also the vendor was outstanding. Very fast shipping. Couldn't be happier.

The Apple Time Capsule is absolutely the easiest way that anyone can perform regular backups on their computer. You don't even know it is happening, it is that simple. Once you have everything setup and are using the Time Capsule as your backup device, Leopard just takes care of the rest. The Connection speed is amazing, and the fact it backs up my stuff every hour, and I can access it anywhere in the house wirelessly has been a time saver! Originally, I was hesitant to buy because of some reviews I had read. I'm glad I bought the Time Capsule. It set up and worked flawlessly. I run my G5 quad off ethernet and the laptops in the house run off wifi. Backup is seamless. Initial backup takes some time, but patience is a virtue, not everything in life is like a drive thru window.Customer Review: Love Time Capsule

I had a WD book backup drive before this and it failed. This is so simple to set up, especially on a Mac. It is quietly sitting across the room backing up now, quietly and efficiently without any error messages saying "failed to back up". What a relief!! I am also figuring out how to use it to back up my hubby's PC.
